Vidya On Harper’s Bazaar:(Un)Covered
Bazaar’s 3rd anniversary issue features Ms. Balan in looks that we all can agree is a departure from her usual attire. Question is, do you love? We certainly do!

Wow. <3
A complete transformation. I could never have imagined that Vidya could look anything else than the eternal old-world Indian beauty…seeing her sporting such funky stuff surprised me…even more, because she totally carries it off!
I think I have a girl crush..the first two photos are AH-MAZING. LOVE everything in those two pictures, the eye make-up makes a huge difference.
Just a minor thing, I dont like her hair in the last two photos. In the last black and white picture she looks slightly bald..:D
Love her with the bob cut and the jacket.
The first one is vidy? Had to look hard….I thought it was chitrangadha
Amazing vidya looks…..
bollywood actresses tend to stick to a certain style, come rain or shine. it’s so pleasant when someone gives us a surprise this way, and especially when it’s vidya (!) who has made it a habit to wow us with TRADITIONAL clothes. definitely loving the high fashion styling.
Wow, nice to see her in such a change and she does carry it off (but i still love in the sarees more).
SUCH GORGEOUSNESS!
I’m in love with her.
V..I..D…Y…A. .????
Rocking it totally!
Nice. Great to see her step out of the Rekha look for a minute. The last photo however in the Gauri Nainika is ruined by the hair! Whoever styled the hair that way needs to re-evaluate their career path.
Love this. Vidya and edgy never seem to be words I’d use together in a sentence, but she nails it here.
Woman is a roll!
LOVE. The thing with Vidya is that her success has led to a certain confidence which is clearly showing. the bob cut is looking amazing on her.
Wow. I never tire of Vidya in her traditional sarees. But this avataar….not bad at all. She has beautiful, luxurious hair (pic 2). Her skin tone is beautiful…no deliberate attempt to lighten it.
No words. <3 See, this is how you use an actress in an editorial; you let her play a part, engage with the styling and the look. Totally love this.
I didn’t recognize her in the cover shot!!! Way to go. Just a hair experimentation can do so much.
I love the B/W picture. Great attitude in every pose, and she looks great in it.
I personally am not fond of her hair in the cover and next picture, but glad to see Vidya stepping out of her comfort zone.
is anyone else in love with her !
That is one of the best covers EVER!
My jaw hit the floor!! In that Roberto Cavalli she just killed every goddamn stereotype she has ever created! I am in LOVE !!
Lovely styling n pics! But does anyone else feel the photos are severely photoshopped?
agreed
Vidya! Please hire the stylist who styled you in this photoshoot. Stat.
wow….what to say? proves she has it in her in full bound….20 on 10
See Vidya, you can look amazing in other looks as well! while i love to see sarees on you, remember – you are young and pretty and can carry off other looks as well! Do continue to experiment!
dint recognize her. looks nice.
Suprising others seems to have become a habit to her interms of either roles or looks.
(just her eyebrows are too dark & thick.)
ok vidya , who so ever styled you for this shoot, hire her for real life
Amahzing!! Love the Roberto Cavalli Jacket pic. Totally rocks.. even reminds me of Elizabeth Taylor in Cleopatra:)
Lady is a chameleon! Love this.
She looks so much better in this hairstyle
wow!!
love the last photo you have posted!
Wow!!!
loved her now look dats wt fashion did to everyone it totally trasforms your out look and turn u in to a Diva like dis. My little concern is d jacket wd black dress it seems to b too tight and mks her look a little too busty. But no doubts she wowed us.
