Vision In White
This year, so far, has been good for Vidya as far as public appearances are concerned. She started off the year wearing a white suit and after that, wore the anarkali silhouette for a number of appearances. That may be the reason why seeing her in this white sari is an absolute surprise and a delight.
She looks fresh ( unlike Sonam below) and graceful and we love! You?

Lovely! She looks nice in white
What a beautiful sari! And I love the detailing on the blouse and the little bag. Smashing :)
She looks nice, but looks older than her age..cos she covers up I guess while everyone else her age and older wears the itsy bitsy bearly there bare-all stuff..
she looks nice, but the blouse and bag look like they belong to another saree.
beautiful saree, blouse and bag.. !love it..!
Not a fan of the length of the sleeves on the blouse. I don’t care too much for the bracelet either. Having said that she looks great…
fabulous saree…. I love the quality of the fabric…and vidya looks refreshing in it.
I usually hate that length in sleeves, but somehow it works here…. And the saree is soooo pretty
I love it! I agree with you P&P.
Very very nice! Simple and elegant.
I also like the work on the side of the blouse sleeve.
agree with “sumi”. it is a pity but it is true. i love her hair.
So lovely! Love to see her stepping out.
The outfit is pretty but I don’t really dig it on her. She looks boring as usual to me. Nothing exciting here.
oh I so… love her here.. cant belive I get to say this for vidhya… but she does look fresh and elegant here… love the batuva… wish I could see the earings… they go really well with the sari… in short she is very well put togather…
love it
the sari is great but the blouse in particular is so beautiful
wow! she does look elegant and graceful. and she is a perfect example for someone who can look charming without wearing tiny clothes.
Even though Vidya looks nice, it’s just too much white for me. She needs to wear other colors!
Love Love Love…I want this outfit…it has such a retro vibe!
I am so glad she is in classy Indian wear, makes her look lovely and dignified.
I’m not loving the blouse…maybe in a slightly brighter colour…but she looks nice. :)
We love too.
she’s looking gud but also like an old aunty(which she always does). When is she gonna lose some weight, yaar? With that kind of height, atleast be slim. Also age is also slipping out
she looks old but sari is nice although too much white
Love the colour, style and embellishment of the blouse. She looks so elegant!
a PERFECT 10 for Vidya!
The Sari + blouse is a Sabyasachi too … the detailing on the blouse gives it away
Am I the only one who doesn’t like this? The sleeve length on the blouse is so unflattering. The sari is ordinary and her hair is a mess.
I have been a highheelconfidential fan for some days now, but have never commented before. Couldn’t resist commenting on this one – I love the white and blue combination. I recently purchased a Pakistani embroidery sari in white which looks just like this – I was planning to get a royal blue brocade blouse stitched to go with it. Now I am sure I can go ahead with that idea.
her batwa reminds me of Ash’s @ filmfare awds this year
i think this outfit would look great on Dimple – which also makes me feel Vidya’s too young for this sort of ensemble.
Vidya looks stunning here. I dont understand all this hoo-haa about looking older. Who says that younger women must wear itsy bitsy clothes to look their age? She know beautiful, sensual and dignified something which likes of Malaika, Priyanka etc cannot be.
I meant ” she looks beautiful….”
She looks very pretty in this one!…Love the simplicity of the look. It does age her a bit though.
Bad Blouse, bad saree, ugly bag, thumbs down on this one..
Pretty white sari! She looks lovely.
