Sridevi was back in a sari wearing a Benarasi one by Sabyasachi to the 2018 Zee Cine Awards. As much as I loved the sari itself, with it being so rich already, wish she hadn’t worn both the earrings and the necklace here and paired the sari with that fringe clutch. If this was a wedding, I’d understand. But here, it just feels so overkill.

Not, I am going to have to just go back to this sighting of hers to cleanse my palate a bit.

After much speculation in the media, the confirmation came via both their twitter profiles. Yep, Anushka and Virat did tie the knot in Italy both wearing Sabyasachi.

At a health related conference that she attended, Sridevi wore a royal blue sequined sari by Sabyasachi with polki tear drop earrings and a kundan ring.

It’s unfair to look so good in saris and to always have first dibs on all of his sari’s. Le sigh.

Anushka and Virat attended Zaheer and Sagarika’s wedding reception on Monday evening with the former opting for a green lehenga by Sabyasachi and the latter a grey suit.

Even if I ignore the signature Sabya styling (read: middle parted sleek hairdo and small bindi) which is getting a bit tedious, can’t quite ignore the fit of that choli. One of the rare Sabyasachi apperances, I am not quite bowled over by.

Sagarika and Zaheer got married in a civil ceremony in Mumbai on Thursday morning with the bride wearing a red Sabyasachi sari and the groom a pink kurta.

At their reception later in the evening, the bride kept it simple in a pink sequin lehenga and the groom in a black mandarin style velvet jacket.
