Sridevi was back in a sari wearing a Benarasi one by Sabyasachi to the 2018 Zee Cine Awards. As much as I loved the sari itself, with it being so rich already, wish she hadn’t worn both the earrings and the necklace here and paired the sari with that fringe clutch. If this was a wedding, I’d understand. But here, it just feels so overkill.
Not, I am going to have to just go back to this sighting of hers to cleanse my palate a bit.

I never thought a day would come when ‘Sridevi in a Banarasi saree’ would not be an automatic homerun.
‘more and less’ are such a subjective, conditioned measure right ? The same formula has become second nature to Rekha and seldom feels too much. What is almost her propriotery patented look, O it seems too much and an infringement of that patent on others. kinda how one calls all chocolates ‘Cadbury ‘!
Whether it’s Sri Devi or Rekha, a majority of women (almost) can look this gorgeous wearing a Benarasi saree and accessories like Sri. By the way, Sri looks lovely by the way.
Her face needed a little makeup/foundation etc. She looks like she is scrubbed clean :P

Does she scrape her make up off at the end of the day? Seriously it’s like a second skin .
This look is just wayyy wayyy too much . The overly bronze saree with everything but the kitchen sink thrown in. That saree isnt for a red carpet period. Even with zero accessories it would overwhelming. The only person who could have worn that and looked in place is Rekha.
She looks like a grooms Mother at a gaudy wedding. Just tooo much.
Only and Only Rekha can pull this off! Anyone else feels the Sridevi has gone completely OTT in the last few months…
She needs to CALM DOWN
She looks gorgeous. Without the necklace & the clutch, this would have been her usual homerun.

For a sec thought it was Rekha.
Few changes n would have looked nice. A different blouse such as a plain golden blouse ans simple gold jewellery than this busy ones.
Also mogra might have looked nice with the sari than the roses.
