Two different screenings saw Tabu in two different maxis, one a blue sleeveless and the other a Priyadarshini Rao. Of the two it was easy to pick the blue appearance the better looking one. As for the striped maxi, I just don’t get why Tabu is drawn to such designs. They do nothing for her.

Tabu sightings are far and few between and while sometimes we get a great look most times we get bad ones. This appearance belonged to the latter category. I don’t know what I dislike more, the ill-placed brocade bust or the ribbon-like skirt that looks like it went through a shredder.
Let’s just pretend we never had a Tabu sighting today, shall we?

In maxi-dresses, these ladies attended recent events. Between Aparna’s printed one by Priyadarshini Rao and Swati’s, the former has our vote. As much as we love the color on Swati (and those jhumkis), the maxi came off looking unfinished and a wee bit drab.

There was a lot to take in with Priyadarshini Rao’s latest presentation. Considering her previous showings, this relatively glitzy showing sure came as a surprise. And not all surprises are of the pleasant kind. The vast line-up felt a wee bit repetitive after a point and while there were many looks that stood out, they almost felt over-crowded to really be memorable.
