LFW Winter/Festive 2012: Priyadarshini Rao

There was a lot to take in with Priyadarshini Rao’s latest presentation. Considering her previous showings, this relatively glitzy showing sure came as a surprise. And not all surprises are of the pleasant kind. The vast line-up felt a wee bit repetitive after a point and while there were many looks that stood out, they almost felt over-crowded to really be memorable.

Disagree! It is overcrowded with versatility, yes! Love the subtle punches of color and lovely silhouttes! Hope these get more love! Special mention to the purple brogues (?)…look yum!

I love how there are some really traditional undertones, specially love the third in the top row and second in the second row.

I like most of the pieces. It’s hard not to like such vibrant fare. That 3rd dress on the last row, a must have.
Wish to see Shruti Hassan in some of these pieces. It’ll look great on her.
