On a rainy day in NY, Padma was spotted breaking up her predominantly black outfit with a bright pair of colored denims.
You like? (I didn’t mind the outfit up until the rain boots, at which point, there was just too much black going on…)

It was a Sabyasachi net sari for Padma Lakshmi tonight at the Blossom Ball in New York. Like Rani, Padma also wore hers with a contrasting blouse, stacked bangles and earrings (from her own signature jewellery line).
As much as I love the sari, the prude in me wishes the blouse had more coverage by way of just a lil’ bit sleeve to prove balance. Other than that, she looks super and it was great to see her in a sari after eons.

At Elle’s 25th Anniversary event, Padma kept it simple and shimmery in a sequin Naeem Khan gown from the Fall 2008 collection. I wish her version had either the low neck or the low back. Both together feel a bit too much as do the wire bracelets on both hands.

Lil’ Krishna was a cutie-pie in a pink dress with a zari border and a bow in the hair to match with Mommy Padma in a blue sari and printed blouse. Wish we had full-length but how adorable do they both look? Is that an “awwwwwww” we hear? ;)
