Sridevi looked absolutely radiant in her yellow Manish Malhotra sari. We’ve never been ones for strapless blouses (nor will we ever be, personally speaking of course) but she certainly wears hers well.
P.S: Anyone else reminded of Kareena Kapoor who paired her yellow MM with some diamonds-and-emeralds bling as well?

And this reminds me how much u hated Madhuri Dixit wearing yellow at Madame Tussaud’s statue unveiling event!! If i remember u wrote U got popsicles. Love Madhuri and Sri Devi both!! Infact more than love,I respect the ladies !!! But I always knee how much U hate Madhuri!! But then as I choose my username ‘whocares’ :)
whocares, i think the popsicles may have used in context of a bright yellow sari against a pink one- candy coloured? in any case, i have known P&P to always add beautiful MD is every time her attire fails her. It seems to me like they are almost apologetic when they criticize her fashion. It doesn’t come across as hate to me. As for the yellow sari MD wore and the one Sri is wearing? there is a world of a difference in my view…
There’s wast difference between what Madhuri wore n what’s Sri is wearing here…Madhuri’s sari was lil over d top tacky…this looks beautiful..Madhuri still is struck in d bygone while Sridevi has moved on to this century n wears what suits her…that being said I absolutely adore Madhuri n simply hate it when she comes up with one fashion disaster after another..
Eh? Apparently you cared enough, otherwise you wouldn’t be commenting. Too sad, you are contradicting yourself. You are comparing oranges to apples. Madhuri with her dated hair and chamak chalo anarkalis/saris are nothing short of bad taste and styling. While Sridevi rocks most of the looks right from Kanchivaram silks, the hated MM saris to western wear.
Actually,the thing is not about hating Madhuri Dixit or Sridevi,the thing is all colours does’nt suit everyone.But Sridevi is one lady on whom all colours and dresses look fabulous and she is a complete fashionistat.And here,she is looking like a true angel.
