Sridevi attended the Police charity show on Saturday evening wearing a white Falguni and Shane Peacock anarkali with jewellery from Begani Jewels. Considering we always see the actor in either Sabya or Manish, it was nice to see her try a different designer. And she did look good here.

Gari – the mild pickled ginger served along with a Sushi platter. The Japanese give this as a palette cleanser.
After seeing so many grandiose Sridevi looks, I am sensing a fatigue. What she needs is Gari – go mild, go simple, and cleanse our palette.
Falguni and Shane do anarkali too now? Ok, then ?
I wish sridevi would outgrow the anarkali phase. This one is so busy and not particularly flattering on her.
Even if she chose to wear a diff designer this looks very similar to the MM aesthetic. I am just glad the OTT outfit is in a muted color.

She looks so good in the closeup shot that it makes me think the anarkali should have been plain from the waist down. It’s too much bling. The net dupatta replaced with a organza type one would have brought some earthiness to the look.
Lovely anarkali and Sridevi looks gorgeous…..but it is too grand for the event.
