It is not like we’ll ever see Sophie wear a traditional sari. (I might have a heart-attack, if it ever does happen, though!)
So keeping with her style, Sophie wore a semi-sheer blue sari with a very unique blouse at the Hinduja reception.

the concept seems interesting but that strap below her shoulder is awkwardly placed…
the blouse is nuts. she should wear a sari more often as she has the right figure for it.
okay i looked at it for another minute and i realized i just feel like chopping the strap off!
i like the color.

It looks like she’s tied with a belt, specially in the first picture, it looks like she is tied up so tight that she can’t even move her hands… I am not sure if tho pose makes her look like that.
omg, what has sophie done to her face??? she looks like she’s had a face lift or eyelift. also looks like she’s done something to her lips. she looked better before. i like the colour of the sari. blouse is way too busy and doesn’t make any sense.

might have worked better with a gujrati kind of wrapping instead of this , so the pallu would have fallen over the other shoulder.

i dont understand y cant people just wear a normal blouse …..like normal y all these crap and experiments!? saree is a beautiful traditional attire not some bimbo’s costume (not being offensive to anyone lol) i mean like the phase of Sushmita sen just after main hoon na wen she started wearin fabulous sarees evrywhere, the blouses that she wore were sexy but yet chic and sophisticated not …….wierd

ahem… I would’ve liked if the blouse strap was not off the shoulder like that. with a traditional blouse, I would have liked the sari. the color is one of my favs.

I love the sari and the blouse except the black strap which is on the shoulder…I wouldn’t mind it if the black strap was off the shoulder on both sides :)

I wish designers would stop messing with the sari. It’s perfect the way it’s meant to be worn, let it be! I give points to Sophie for trying it and the colour is very nice. Btw does anyone else think she looks similar to the Janice character from Friends?
Talking strictly about the outfit (not the face) I like it! Very different yet pretty – love the color as well.
