I think her stylist is secretly jealous of her and is out to make her look bad. Ash, for her part, goes on auto-pilot when she has to make a public appearance so doesn’t notice it.
Has anyone ever considered that maybe this girl just doesn’t have any fashion sense? Just ’cause you used to be a model doesn’t meant you know how to dress. She fits right into her new family, I mean look at her dad in law, who gets one hit after 30 misses.
But at least they got the make-up right. See, I told you guy in the PP2 premiere post…the stylist always gets exactly one thing right…either the make-up, or the hair, or the dress – but never all three at the same time. It must be a tactic to get at least something right so that s/he doesn’t lose his/her job. I’m telling you, this stylist is out to get her for some reason.
Whops typo…my previous post should read ‘I told you guys’. You see? I’m frothing at the mouth so much that I can’t function properly. It is a CRIME to make such a drop-dead gorgeous lady look bad.
Is this just me or she has been wearing weird eye makeup lately. I noticed in her pink panther (Black gown) pics also that her left eye was different than her right eye. Is it her makeup or is it because she is lifting her left eyebrow? {Or I am just a jealous old lady.}

koel, Aish always had significant asymmetry in her face. Just like Bipasha. I remember her interviews after the Miss World where she talks about it (as imperfections) and how she is very conscious about it. so I doubt it is just the makeup. :)
i’m actually ok with the suit it’s just a photocall (i really like the neck of the jacket)
but i do think her face is starting to look a little different
not as fresh
but then can’t expect her to look drop dead gorgeous always
I hate the double standards people have regarding Ash.People were criticizing Freida for being all over the place for a 15 minute role;its still much better than the blink and miss role Ash has in Pink Panther.She has been given a miss in all reviews of the movie too.Plus,Freida looks goood in all her appearances(most anyway) but if Ash is criticized for wearing a ridiculous suit,its termed ash-bashing

@ k= Nobody is bashing Ash. Everyone agrees that she is beyond beautiful. Most of us are just unhappy that such a gorgeous woman should wear such frumpy clothes…hell, some are even angry at her sodding stylist. Also, we are allowed to make the occassional sarcastic comments here on this blog..thats what makes it fun. As for the haters…all celebrities have their own set…its a sign of stardom. :)

another thing.. ive criticized some of ash’s clothes too. but in this case, there is nothing wrong with what she’s wearing. sure she isnt wearing a conventional dress as you might have liked her to (??) but atleast she looks stunning!!!

something’s wrong – I blame her stupid stylist. Or lack of sleep. but i wonder if her schedule is sooo jam packed that there’s no time to sleep?? I am beginning to feel Ash is losing interest and has simply stopped trying.. she doesn’t need to I guess…
lack of sleep clearly shows. but i have never seen ash this fat and she looked her usual weight just a few weeks ago. this whole series is worse than her canne phase where atleast she looked good as a person.
it isnt abt the weight at all(though unsual and so it shocks us), a good dress and right make up would have done wonders.

Ladys and others, you heard from me first and here, I think she is pregnant and that explains the tired eye and lose clothing that she has been seen wearing for the past few days, I think the reason why her eyes are sink in is pregnancy as well, I can swear a dollar in dime (is that how you say it lol) that she is PREGNANT
Something is REALLY off about her face. That’s the first thing that stood out.
Other than that, the suit is nice… but I would’ve liked a nice, simple spring dress….

Meow, the bashers are out in full force again. I’m not crazy about the suit. But is is nothing outrageously bad. She looks very tired from the constant traveling for the promotions.
@P, you are wrong about Aishwarya having a blink and miss role in PP2. My friend saw it and he said Aishwarya is one of the main characters. She is on screen for about 50 minutes in the movie. The reason why the reviews are barely mentioning her is that it would give away the climax. I hate slaptick so I’ll pass on PP2.
Let’s see what Aishwarya wears on the Tyra Bank’s show on Thursday. Hopefully she wears a stylish outfit.

Ugh, that suit is hideous, there’s no excuse for a bad suit. And what wrong with a little colour? PP2 is a light hearted movie (and probably not one that’s going to do very well), she should take advantage of the spotlight wear some GOOD memorable + colourful pieces. Looks like she might have had some filler injections done, making her face puffy.
ok here’s my question…it’s been said that she’s signed new films and has yet to complete her current two movies so can she plan on a pregnancy despite having so many commitments? just curious!!

It’s a pretty bad fashion choice. But it’s suggestive of her personality. I think she just can’t be bothered to spend ages on looking perfect.

@Rashmi, maybe the pregnancy (if true) was not planned? I think there might be some truth to the pregnancy rumour here. Notice that she has stopped dyeing her hair and that she didn’t take that heavy velvet coat off during the Le Grand Journal interview.
OK I feel kind of guilty speculating about all this, so back to fashion. I love her hairstyle with the middle part. It looks fabulous on her!
IMO she is dressed like a 60 year old (reminded me of Helen Mirren and Diane Keaton!).
Style differs from person to person, so obviously some people like this look and some don’t and to term people who don’t like the LOOK (not talking abt the woman at all) Ash-haters is unfair. FYI I loved her look at the PP2 premier.

jessica simpson wore a similar suit in white for some awards a couple of years back.. wud love to see her in something like that, linen suit.. specally in the sun!

Prem Rogue, whether the pregnancy (if true) was planned or not, I think the two movies she has signed can wait or may go to other actresses as they have not started shooting. As for her current movies, I heard Robot is almost complete and so is Ravana. So that means by the time it shows (i mean the bump) she will have completed the two movies and then can relax…oh i hope this rumor is TRUE. She’s already 35 so it’ll be better for her sooner than later. :)

As for the style here, she is fine. Nothing bad to go about bashing. And yes in the Martha Stewart show she did mention about lots of travel all in one week. So that might explain all the shortcomings.

A pin strip suit can look perfectly feminine ..provided its the right cut..there are so many nice ones out there!! why did she have to choose this ill-fitted one!!
She looks a little different in the face, although very pretty. For a change, it’s nice to see her in a pant-suit. It looks OK, not the best. I wish the pants were slimmer.
we can blame her stylist all we want, but the lady has no fashion sense to call her own either. it takes some to choose the right stylist/ designer. doesn’t anyone remmeber her disastrous appearances at cannes from a few years ago where neeta lulla did her some disservice? but then again this woman can make even the best designer clothes look bad- how come she manages to look frumpy in a red dior or a black albeta feretti while a little plant (in someone else’s words from these posts :-)) like freida pinto manages to get it right and carry off every look with such elan and aplomb….face it, it has to do with her. Beauty alone is not enough if you don’t have the class, attitude and body to carry haute couture. The lesses said about this suit the better…it loks like it was picked up from the discount bin at Talbot’s or Bolton’s or even Lane Bryant!!

Doubt she is preggers- it could explain the weight gain, need to wear loose clothing and puffiness. but i doubt she would be travelling sooo much in her first trimester- it really wouldn’t be safe for the baby! and I am sure her family and her would be aware of that. PP2 aint that important.

I doubt she is. She has movies lined up and I think once she finishes those she’ll have children. I think that’s her plan.
