After a string of appearances in gown, the original ‘Desi Girl’ went desi at the Zee Cine Awards wearing a Jade sari.
The tissue material really didn’t photograph well and the look ended up looking much too OTT. We weren’t fans.

Dont know if she won anything at the awards but Miss Chopra is the constant winner for WTHEY.
Taking her Gunday look a little too far? She maybe the “original desi girl” but desi looks never suit her. Rather, just like other looks, she never does them right.

In these pics, yes the sari does not photograph well. I don’t know where you guys pick photos from because in the rest of the pics from twitter, that sari does not look that blingy and kinda pretty.

I’m in the minority here….I like this saree. At least it’s not another net saree. Unfortunately the fabric is not photographing well. Pics elsewhere shows a lovely color combination and workmanship. She’s draped it well too.
I actually like saree, its just the flash making it look super shiny. Someone like mini mathur would have carried it off better.
The sari may be OTT for the occasion but somehow im coming to like it. It’s pretty.

That saree material looks super cheap and would most probably need a pair of sun glasses to at if it was out in the sun.

Take a dive Piggy chops! This has to be one of her worst looks . Between the theatre curtain saree, the blingy decoration and the hair there is no redemption here.
somehow i like this look coz its different from the rock star look she is trying so hard to project… saree maybe bit serial type but she looks good never the less
