When Amrita Rao wore what she did at ‘My Name is Anthony Gonsalves’ press meet, we were appalled. And now Aarti Chhabria does the same at the premiere of ‘Dhoom Dhadaka’! What’s with grown women wearing prom dresses/ lil-girl-frocks with tiers or frills or bizarre volume, or all of them rolled into one?
By the slightest margin Aarti Chhabria does fare better, but wearing sheer panty-hose with open-toed footwear is such a major no-no!
Who according to you committed the bigger fashion offense?

Well prom dresses, frills and tiers (like those seen on the Luella 2008 Spring/Summer Catwalk) are kind of having a come back so granted that these ones are horrid, terrible fashion mistakes, done correctly the trend can be bang on.
equally fuglt, n cudn’t she get a pair of pantyhose tht matched her skin tone n more ovr is she following ekta kapoor in fugly fashion by wearing open toed shoes eecks!

yup belle u hit it! it was at some zee tv awards….simplee horrendous….well Alexa Chung is a British model and a tv artist n she wore a pink tiered dree at some elle uk 2008 event, if u type her name n google it thn in google images u wil find her…

Jen, totally right about the bustier but I just love the shoes and dress combo. I posted a link to the pic but it looks like it got deleted for some strange reason.
I can’t decide which one is worse out of Aarti and Amrita’s outfit, they’re both horrible. But it looks like Aarti put in more effort, which went to pot because it looks terrible. The shoes, I don’t even know where to start.

amrita definitely. no question about it. the whole ratty hem look never appealed to me. her elbows as osmeone pointed out, need attn. and her face.. is just drab…
i appreciate that she is trying to look young, but it is possible to apply makeup that doesnt make you look old.
