Preity (Un)Covered
It was about time that style icon Preity Zinta got a cover of her own and here is the first look! What do you think?

Payal thinks: It’s funny that Bipasha goes overboard on eye makeup in the last issue and Preity now seems to have none at all! And, considering they already used Gucci on Kareena, I was hoping to see Preity wear something completely different.. ;)
Edit: Added clearer pic..
is it me or the dress doesn’t fit her well, looks like belt is holding it in place ……preity looked good , but her make up and hair style is too simple
she look pretty
i saw anthour photo for her in vouge she look so pretty and hot u must see it :)
awesome, and I love the absence of makeup…as much as I love makeup, these pretty girls look best with less on :)
Aishwarya would be my main example
she looks nice but a little makeup would have been nicer. regardless, still looking good.
and a random question to you guys. do you know if they sell Vogue India in the US? i did a google search. didnt find much.
thanks : )
preity looks pretty! dress looks frumpy but she seems to carry it quite well.
she carries it off…the colour, the dress and the lack of heavy duty make-up.
i like!
since it’s what, spring in india right now? Preity looks so unbelievably fresh and crisp!
nice@
preity has started to look preety again
Am I the only one who finds her looking washed out? Or it the blurred reproduction of the cover?
And attribute it to my Indian upbringing, but black-and-yellow always scream one thing: Taxi!
Yeah the gucci repeat is surprising. This gown is gorgeous but Kareena got to wear the better one.
Talking about repeats, Indrani Dasgupta wears a green/brown version of Kareena’s dolce and gabbana gown on this month’s cover of grazia. What is it with stylists running out of ideas?
Please cover more on Preity!and Katrina
Not a great cover for Vogue. Kareena’s look in the water color dolce & gabanna dress made her look like a million bucks. Preity looks pale in comparison.
I like the cover, I think the bad reproduction isn’t doing it any justice. The ‘no-make up’ look was all over the catwalks so maybe its a nod to that.
I love the dress.
Neelam, can’t find Indian Vogue in the UK either. Let me know if you find it there, chances are of you find it there it should be here.
I also feel Preity’s hair needs a makeover. It looks very dated. Bangs will help.
She looks okay. The dress is nice. Slightly more make up would have given her a better look.
the thing with preity is that ever since she hooked up with Ness, she tries too hard to be a younger version of Maureen. Its like she ends up looking like the step child that is looking for attention/appreciation.
Whenever i see her decked up in designer gear or whatever, i feel like i am seeing a teenager prying for some acceptance. It never looks like it is her own “style”..
I wish hey hadn’t pushed up her cleavage that much! why try so hard when you dont need too!
I dont get it why Vogue India use an Indian model rather than some bollywood star. Its a Fashion MAG.And i wana see some models up there. I sey get Vipasha Agarwal there! :P
..Why Vogue India DONT use an Indian Model..*
Sorry typo!
preity luks superb! i m amused to read some comments here. i guess some ppl r just jealous. anyway preity rules.
Luv de dress. Dunno…. if it looks good on Pretty. Just feels liek doens’t fit her too well. n’ yep her hair n’ make up too simple. Feels like she ccame in for the photoshoot n’ they had her put on the dress n’ took dos picz.
actually kareena wore dolce and gabbana on the cover.
M,
Yep.. know that.. we wrote bout it here

The point was that when they already had used a collection(Gucci) for a spread 2 months ago(Kareena’s).. it is surprising they would use a dress from that collection again for a cover..and not go with something different..
Swee-e-eetheart! Kareena wore Dolce & Gabbana, NOT Gucci.
Protyasha,
We know. Perhaps, you missed this…
