I saw these first pics of Manisha and was so happy that the lady had finally got her groove back! Alas, the excitement was shortlived. Check inside to see why!

  2. Oh Nepali didi! what the heck went wrong with this one!! aah it’s the shoes and the makeup just like Payal mentioned. I know you haven’t been getting good movies yet for a come-back but I think you must improve your fashion sense first for producers to even consider giving you a role. And you DESERVE to come back in movies as I’m a fan of yours!!

  4. The shoe and makeup are not the only problem… The fit of the dress and length are horrible. Eek! The colour is fab though very IN this spring

  6. the colour looks FAB on her but the fabric? not so much..
she looks really good with her hair swept away from her face.. accentuates her facial features so much!

  8. She looks so heavenly in the first 2 pictures. The hair pulled up looks so classy. Seems as if she let her hair down in the powder room and applied extra make up, that suddenly made it awful. Shoes (are they Mary Janes?) are awful too, but the dress and the colour are awesome.

  9. Fortunately, the dress hides the shoes! I think that if that dress were a jumpsuit/romper type ensemble, they miiight have worked, but for such a lovely look it does not go. and I don’t wear much makeup so I can’t really tell what’s going on, but I’m more concerned about her hair! It looks a mess down- she should have left it up!

  10. I understand that the shoes don’t quite go with this…but she still manages to look good. Good for her.

PnP, is pointy shoes not a good thing ? Please advice.

  11. zee,
In Manisha’s case, her gown called for a sandal and not a covered mule like that. That was what made it much worse! Its like wearing a beautiful gown (not saying hers is one) and wearing boots with it. The aesthetics are completely messed up! A gold peep-te would have worked better for Manisha.

  12. i think its j just nice to see her look haflway decent after so long..she was oen of the prettier 90’s actresses..and she’s been obviously working on herself which is awesome

  13. Looking at the first two pictures, I thought she had improved. Then I realised, I don’t like anything except the colour. The fabric should have been Chiffon instead of Lycra.

  14. egads those shoes! She looks better than she has in a while, the dress hugs her at the right places. Lovely colour too– the the padding at the bust…why? why? WHY? * bangs head on keyboard*

  15. Lovely colour.. but as everyone has already highlighted.. ugly shoes! also i feel the gal need way more support, plus the dress seems out of place for a fashion show (if ur a spectator) maybe thats why she changed her hairstyle, to look more informal?
