Turns out that the much hated pair of shoes on Koel are from Dior’s Fall 2008 collection. We agree that they were too much for the outfit in question(a Malini Ramani creation) but when paired with something monochromatic, the shoes would totally rock.
I might be biased a little, since I love a chunky pair and if you like them too, Saks right now has a camel version on sale for $233 bucks. Quite a steal from the original $780!

Koel is wearing a fake pair. If you look closely model’s shoe is suede material, koel’s look more like a plastic leathery. I personally think they are ugly.

Koel has a variation on. The picture is more to show what collection it was from. You’ll see the leather material on the Saks site too.
The dress she wore did no justice to the shoes, infact made the shoes look odd. This pair would have looked so much better with a beautifully tailored garment, or a structured garment with or without any graphic or abstract prints.
Koel is too petite to wear these shoes. The heel is almost as tall as her lower leg is long .. :)

not a fan. these shoes are not elegant looking at all. on the contrary, i think they are very clunky.

I hate the shoes. Definitely because of the chunk factor. Stilettos look way better.
I just tried these today..but a bit over the top for people who are more day to day.
they are about the same price in Nordstrom.

Koel is like 5 foot 4 (i thinik),and here she looks like a child wearing Mommy’s clothes, plain dress up, the shoes look like a size too big for her…
