We really do wish Mrs Bachchan would give these pastels, neutrals and sombre hues a rest. We long for her to embrace color like she does once every blue moon, we really do!
What’s gonna come first, Mrs Bachchan in some vibrant color or Divya Khosla Kumar sans her monogram menagerie…? All bets are on! ;)

you are right about the pastel colors, but she looks better than what we have seen in the past. At least she is not in some huge anarkali outfit. Some hair color to cover the grey would be good, but I think she does not really care.
Same suit that Dimple Kapadia wore recently in Lilac. Thta colour was lovely. Don’t like this green at all.
i think she wore this dress for Ash and Abhi’s mehendi .. some covert pics doing the rounds on internet … i cant be sure …
If wishes were horses, then beggars would ride. We can keep wishing but she is not going to change. LOL
Anyway, Jaya looks okay. She has never been interested in fashion so I don’t expect anything from her. As long as she is not wearing something horrendous like that Cannes outfit I’m willing to leave her alone.
No one in Bollywood wears a suit like Mr. Bachan (the elder) :) LOVE, and he always has the most fabulous glasses

I think she looks nice.
For some reason, I think of Jaya as being more normal and less glistzy than the rest of the Bollywood pack – I think that has always been part of her appeal too.
I mean, if I saw my Mum wearing this, I’d say she looked nice. If my Mum picked out something bright orange with sequins climbing all over the front, back and sides, I’d be all, “Stay away from me, Stranger.”
Somehow, I see Jaya like that too. So of course, jazzing it up a bit now and then is good for her. As long as she’s not Poonam Dhillonizing us.

she really does not care about fashion, which in many ways is good. but i bet the pressure from home and society to look good surely is there.

I agree with Tongue in Chic. I think she does look nice. She has always had a very simple vibe to her. Just last night, “Silsila” was playing on tv, and she looked so simple and elegant and Mr. B looked so handsome! I really think that Mr and Mrs B make such a cute couple both on and off screen!
I think she looks simple and elegant and dresses up just right for her age…
