After seeing the Sr. Bachchan don the velvet jacket/denims look time and again (and again! ), you can’t blame us for getting a wee bit put off by the look only because we were subjected to it so much (see here). And, while we can’t say we particular like the stark contrast of Sonu’s black velvet jacket and the light denims, I guess, just seeing new people don the look makes it refreshing. We especially can’t help but love Abhay’s greenish-black/gray combo. (Or, is it their cute grins that’s blinding us?)

Who do you prefer more?

While Kim looked cute, Mahima looked chic…minus the hair and shoes of course! And then there was Shaheen who despite over-working the ‘trend’ (of boyfriend blazer, shimmery top, leggings, hairband and those heels) still came off looking nice… relatively of course! Relative to whom you ask? Look inside. ;)

While Mandira’s ‘Red’ could stop a blind man in his tracks, Juhi’s could’ve put the most jaded of insomniacs to sleep. As lovely as the ladies in question are, not feeling these uber filmy/tacky saris. Not at all.

It’s not the outfit that shocks me (ok. maybe it does a bit…) but the fact that it is Sujata Mehta (of ‘Pratighaat’ fame) wearing it that really blows my socks away!

Considering there’s nothing imaginative about putting red, black and white together, Ayesha earns herself no points. In fact, she digs herself deeper by failing to execute even that. The voluminous top hits her at the hip; the volume adding girth where there’s none.

We are sure that’s not the effect she ‘Wanted‘, not in a month of ‘Sundays‘! Yeah, yeah, yeah we know that line’s cheesy but hey, no more cheesy than that terrible hair color. :P
