In Dolce & Gabbana
Jahnvi accompanied her parents and younger sister to the IIFAs and posed for the photogs on the green carpet before the event. For the evening, she picked a Dolce and Gabbana full-skirted dress, one which she paired with a messy, soft updo and ankle-strap sandals. The print makes it contemporary, the silhouette and styling, age appropriate and overall, a look that she wears well. We like!

I still think this ages her. She looks nice no doubt but she looks like she’s playing dress up in her mom’s clothes. A lighter background against that floral print would’ve looked more appropriate.
As is, it looks more appropriate for someone sonam’s age, if not older.
+1.
Love this dress! It slightly ages her but not a big deal considering she’s only 16. Very elegant and pretty styling!
I am not liking the hair actually. The dress is ok-it’s a mature look-the hair I don’t like.
She is in her teens yet if m not mistaken… the makeup is too harsh for her age… agree with anon’s comment
So i said in last post (of hers) that she is going to be big star and fashionista….and this look now vouch for that…she is confident and really out there to rock some chic looks…and Kjo movie will be best complement for her…looking forwrad to it
But KJo movie’s will have her wear MMs net saris. :P I would rather see her in a SLB’s movie. The movie might be boring and running time taking a couple of days but the clothes will be gorgeous nonetheless. :D
We saw alia in some non manish malhotra creations in her debut film ..so hoping for the same for jhanvi too :P apter all kjo is launching jhanvi too..so lets see :p
And hail nepotism..Looks like these days only star kids have the right to be actors…
She definitely is too overexposed now, even before any movie is announced. Cannot recall any other star kid being talked about as much as this Ms.
non star kids are actors too.. she’s just attending an event with her parents, i don’t think she intends to be talked about at all
At 16, and with no movies under her belt she has no business walking the green carpet, no matter what she is wearing. No other star children seem to hog the lime light from their parents…
I agree. Unless she is representing a movie, I don’t understand why she is here walking the carpet.
If her mother can’t make the right call atleast PnP can do that, by not featuring her.
maybe shes come to enjoy the show like the thousand other people that bought the tickets? just so happens she didnt have to since her parents were going. you guys seem really frustrated to be so judgemental
Agree 100% !!! I hv always objected to her being featured on this blog…since was 13-14 yrs old.
I agree. She has no reason walking the carpet.
Yup, lets get rid of all the star wives too- Kiran, Gauri, Priyanka Oberoi and what about the socialites- the Poonawala girls, Madhu, Queenie, et all, while we are at it. Since they too have no business on the red carpet. Then we can have a fashion blog about Sonam Kapoor, Deepika, Priyanaka for serious fashion and Vidya and Aishwarya for tadka.
Haha.
Ha! well said.
oh ok so she is a socialite …then i guess its FAIR! ;)
bahahahaha bole to jhakass comment.
Ya… socialite.. i could accept her in this blog like that..
Ha ha. That was one helluva good response.
nice response
I think Ms Kapoor wants to be in limelight and if her parents don’t seem to object then I dont see a reason why P&P should not post her pics on this blog….May be you are being too scrupulous…Remember this is the glam world and not all rules applicable to common man apply to star kids…
She looks so comfortable/confident in whatever she wears and that makes anything work on this girl. Love.
The dress doesn’t have any impact…….just so meh! mature hairdo……terrible sandals
16 going on 26!
As someone mentioned – 16 going on 26. I feel bad for her, at this age she must already feel the pressure of being the next fashionista / style ‘icon’. She seems like a sweet girl but frankly very very average looking. In bollywood nepotism rules.
Agreed 100%. Very average looks with access access to all the money and style. All hail nepotism
Agree 200%
I feel PC is not even average looking. So what? She went on to the get all the recognition.
Yes…so true…She looks so average…And I think she looks more like renuka shahane’s daughter than sridevi’s…Hail nepotism…i think with all these star kids joining the band wagon the good part is we will have more fashionistas :)…Ms Icon is going to have a hard time keeping her crown…The sad part is the lack of good actors and more inaccessibility for common man to become an actor…
+1
she’s not 16, she’s 18 and i think she looks nice!
I don’t mind her on the blog… but I hope she just sticks to being a celebutante than stepping into Bollywood. Let someone who is actually talented get into the movies than these star kids..
+10000

the hairstyle, earrings & makeup age her. A messy side bun & different earrings, sandals would have worked better.
Makeup is sad…she looks sleepy
She looks lovely. Stylish and age appropriate. I like it that she left the diva business to her mother and chose to under-play it.
I know I’m old fashioned, but Yay for wearing a longer length. I was getting tired of the minis acyually. And here she looks lovely.
Actually not acyually!
i wanted to say this in the previous post about her at IIFA…
@PnP why is she being featured? because she is Sridevi’s daughter of because you girls spotted the designer being sported by her? i second all of those above who have expressed their disapproval of her being featured here, for all of those reasons!
*or because
(sorry for the typo..)
Love the dress ! Haven’t liked a bunch of DnG in the floral patterns – but this one if gorgeous and she looks great.
