Golden Girl

Dia looked beautiful (like always) in a mustard gold sari with a gold blouse and a gold clutch. Am glad she didn’t wear golden bangles to complete her look. That would’ve been way too much of gold.

  2. it’s so hard not to match ur bag to ur purse lol..for me anyway. I try to remember to contrast when i can…but dude, it’s really hard cuz i tend to gravitate towards the same color as my outfit XD

  3. She looks totally elegant and its nice to see a non-MM, non-Sabya saree on someone.

Would have been nice if the clutch was black or a pale green though.

  4. she looks lovely! although, i think the blouse colour (in what looks like satin, no less) was not the right choice – a navy or magenta would have been a really pretty contrast to play off the mustard.

  5. Diya is the only girl in bollywood who dares to wear different types of saris, not the same tired old Manish Malhotra/Sabya-style ones. she gets bonus points for that alone! the fact that she rocks whichever sari she wears seals her position as bollywood’s most sylish sari-wearer in my eyes ;)

    • Exactly! Why is everybody so confined to their comfort zones? Diya looks charming, not only is the choice of saree to be appreciated, the drape is so decent. I am in awe and like someone else said, she is causing a lot of girls to have a spontaneous crush on her!

  6. She is a darling! Like the fact that she wears all different kinds of outfits and looks elegant in all. Nice saree.
Glad to see her wearing non designer sarees. Very neat, although I would have liked a different blouse to play off the mustard yellow.

  7. I don’t really like the saree, esp. the fabric, but Dia makes it all work and looks like a million bucks. I love to see her in sarees, just so elegant.

the hairstyle makes her look so mature.
I would never even think of buying such an OTT sari. Tbh, it looks like a tapestry or something…..

  11. Nice! She looks beautiful, and like she belongs in a 1960’s film starring opposite Shammi Kapoor. Such old world charm, that one never sees nowadays.
