Our joy at having spotted the beautiful Ms. Shankar on the red carpet was rather short-lived. While we love the fact that she took the Indian-inspired route with her look for the premiere, the actual choice of outfit left us cold.
There is kitsch that works and kitsch that doesn’t and this particular outfit just didn’t.

I think she looks quite cool, probabley not that suitable for the occasion but i think she can get away with it as she has that boho thing going on. I would have liked a dupatta with it though.

The outfit is a bit too loud but you have to give it to her for carrying it well.

This one actually works for me and in fact after a long time I see an Indian ensemble that looks traditional, classy and still give that modern vibe! She carries it rather well too :)
agree, she actually looks nice, the dress on somebody else like maybe sonam kapoor who only copies western looks wouldnt have worked but on anoushka it actually works and she looks good! classy and fun and stylish…
