Wearing an elaborate Malan Breton feathered and embellished gown, Aishwarya attended the awards event held last night in Mumbai. Centre-parted wavy hair, smokey eyes and jewelry from Renu Oberoi rounded out the actor’s look.
Dramatic and striking, Aishwarya sure had our attention on the red carpet. Sure, the whole ‘Elvira, Mistress of the Dark’ look might slightly veer on this side of costume-y but Aishwarya worked that look. And given the dress, that’s no mean feat.

I am sorry but this hideous. It’s just yards and yards of monstrosity. Maybe if she tied up her hair or something we would have a “look” but she really should aim to look stylish rather than dramatic. She is a beautiful woman with a lovely figure. I don’t get the obsession with volume that too totally unstructured. Boring hair , boring make up with that feathery sequined tent .

The gown is dramatic and this is probably the most effort she has taken for a red carpet in India. But the hair makes it look too sloppy and I am tired of seeing her in all black.
She is breathtaking but that gown is just “designer gone wild” – its like he added every design element he learned in school. The look seems straight out of Guzaarish and not 2017 red carpet.

Black and white crow! Bad bad bad…I can’t believe Anaita styled her. Now I totally get it when people say she Ash lacks personal style. Even an Anaita Adajania Shroff couldn’t save her. How much can a stylist do when one is constantly veering towards volume, embroidery, embellishments and loud pieces? All the bloody time!

She looks good because she is gorgeous woman. No credit to the gown. The gown could have had some kind of breathing space. A little deep neck or something.
She looks gorgeous. The gown is quite love except for the feathery stuff dangling from the sleeve. A fitted sleeve would have look better. I love the hair and make-up.
This would’ve been a great gown had the sleeves ended at the shoulders. Now it looks like a fancy dress costume. And her hair isn’t helping tone it down either.
It reminds me of the black alien parasitic life form in Spiderman 3 that crawls and spreads all over, ultimately completely swallowing the host body.

It looks to me like just a badly photographed event. Look at all the flash. The colour of the gown on Instagram is green. The picture makes it look like a homogenous black thing, while it seems like a delicate fabric. Can’t see a shape or anything in this picture. Ditto for Sonam Kapoor.
Viral Bhayani ji, could we ask your reporters to avoid using flash? Event organizers, could you just organize your red carpets to have decent lights?

She looks amaze ! Love the hair, yes it’s too much fabric and the gown sort of seems like lost its way somewhere, but you can’t go past that beautiful place, and frankly if she passed by, people would certainly stop and look!
