Sticking to sari as usual was Vidya at an art exhibition (by Vivek Sharma) featuring Warhol-style art of her from The Dirty Picture. Unfortunately, the sari did nothing but add more volume to her frame.

The border of saree is too wide, making her look short as well (I’ve made that mistake too). Do like the blouse and earings. But I wish she would bangles! Make-up is not bad either.

I agree. I love the saree. But i think its horribly draped. The blouse is pretty ugly too (especially in the half boob show shot).

Vidya has no style sense and never did. Just wearing whatever Sabya sari she can get her hands on is not style.
More than the saree, it’s the blouse that is hideous.

So fugly! For a woman who wears saris all the time, can’t she learn to drape it proper?
Such a disaster. She has been looking more and more like an ‘aunty’ of late. Especially here, with the oily make-up and greasy looking hair. I understand that she is not versatile enough to pull off too many styles but atleast she could wear fresh, beautiful sarees and change up her hair from the done to death plait/left open style she always sports.

The problems not that shes wearing a saree but that its not the easiest of sarees to pull off. I love the blouse though.

I think a few changes will make her look much better – choose a saree with smaller borders and pleat the pally properly. Look to Nandita Das for instance!

The hair…the bad draping are not helpping that choice of sare she went with either…
Vidya went from sexy aunty to frumpy aunty! That blouse, esp showing up in the 1st photo is horrendous. And she needs to figure out how to drape them instead of throwing them over sloppily – she’s been wearing them long enough!
Girlfriend needs to visit a bra fitter ASAP.
