Rekha attended the Mehta-Ambani wedding reception wearing a sari-inspired creation by Manish Malhotra. Between the busy outfit and the jewellery, yes it was a lot. But, this is the quintessential Rekha look and one that only she makes work. Oddly, I found myself liking it.

For her appearance at a recent event, Rekha picked a Manish Malhotra suit to wear. With flowers in her hair, she rounded out the look with signature red lip and big traditional earrings. Given how busy the outfit was, it was a good idea to skip the heavy-duty necklaces she usually tends to favor.
It might not be our cup of tea but it was a look right up her alley!

Swapping her signature saris for a suit was Rekha at the Morani-Seth wedding. Now, when it comes to Rekha, OTT comes with the territory but somehow it works with saris. This though was just too much for the senses.

For her two recent appearances, Rekha picked lovely silk saris to wear, dressing both up with flowers, traditional jewelry and her signature striking lip color.
While the chartreuse and hot-pink sari made for an interesting choice, it was the more restrained and understated beige and gold sari that stood out to me more.
