In Masaba
For the Big Telugu Entertainment Awards, it was a Masaba sari for Ms. Manchu, one that she wore well (minus her choice of earrings). You like?

Two back to back events saw Ms. Manchu do Amit Aggarwal‘s draped sari gowns both featuring leather cord detailing on the blouse and the silver one even on the belt.
Of the two, loved the former look. The hair, the make-up, just everything was perfect. (Well, we can’t see the shoes, but I guess that’s a good thing). The silver sari didn’t seem to fit well at the bust but that wasn’t the only issue. The bangles work but going with a silver clutch and shoes was just going overboard.
Which look are you liking?

For their respective events both these ladies picked blue saris with Lakshmi picking a shimmery Satya Paul and Pinky, a Tarun Tahiliani.
The sari itself may not be our cup of tea but Ms. Manchu sure looked nice. As did Ms. Reddy, minus her choice of blouse; that net/mesh panel on it was downer!

Wearing a Shantanu and Nikhil sari, Lakshmi was in attendance at the recent Awards night. Like many others at the event, she too finished out her look with a side-braid.
A low, wispy knot would’ve been the better route to take than the messy braid which seemed a tad jarring. Especially given the stark white of her blouse already! Also, theoretically the red lip helps add a bit of pop but truth be told, just doesn’t work against all that brown-bronze, a tricky shade to begin with. Would’ve preferred either a more dewy/glossy fresh lip color or a dramatic berry-toned one. And finally, the clutch (Edie Parker?). Wish she picked something other than one that disappeared entirely in to her sari.

In a Wendell Rodricks gown, Lakshmi attended day one of SIIMA being held in Sharjah this year. Am not feeling the gown but what I don’t like more about the look is the glitter headband. It makes her look like a kid playing dress-up and in this case that of a bride.
