At a recent event, Ayushmann(in Corneliani), Aparshakti and Karthik all stuck to formal suits. I liked Karthik Aryan’s look in Canali the best.

While Aparshakti’s overall look worked, I wish he opted for a different pair of shoes. The gray plaid tie and brown shoes with the pocket square didn’t really coordinate with his pink suit.

The ever dapper Anil Kapoor suited up in Canali and a Vivienne Westwood tie while taping a TV show. He can do no wrong when it comes to formal outfits and this look was no exception.

Busy promoting Namaste England, Arjun Kapoor picked a Canali bandhgala, a look we have seen him do multiple times. For another appearance, he went the casual route in a Ih Nom Uh Nit tee, Scotch and Soda pants and a Lost and Found By Ria Dunn jacket.

While I’m glad that he is branching out to other designers and not wearing Kunal Rawal, both these appearances seemed ho-hum to me. You agree?

Round Up: Men’s Style

Here’s a round up of the Bollywood men at the recently conducted Filmfare Awards. Let’s break it down into three categories, shall we?

The Good: Akshay Kumar in Tom Ford, Rajkummar Rao in Giorgio Armani & Shahid Kapoor in Gaurav Gupta.

The Not Quite: Manish Malhotra, Karan Johar in Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, Ayushmann Khurrana in Canali (With a different tie) & Arjun Kapoor in Shantanu Nikhil (minus the weird pose).

The “Whoa! What are they wearing?”: Ranveer Singh in a custom made Karrtik D suit, paying homage to the Bollywood movies of the 90s and Maniesh Paul in a NM Design Studio suit, which had a hypnotizing effect on my eyes.
