Also wearing Dior at the Filmfare Awards were Suzanne and Shruti with Suzanne wearing a halter gown from a more recent collection and Shruti picking a mesh detailed one circa Fall 2005.
Shruti disappointed because her look fell so flat. An edgier hair do and different makeup would’ve elevated her look and made the gown stand out. Suzanne, on the other hand, looked lovely in hers, even though I don’t feel the floral print.

i love shruti, but her make-up and hair is so mismatched. She should have gone for pin straight hair and darker berry lips.

i likd suzanne’s hair and make up, she is too pale for this dress. I am surprised with Shruti’s choice. the corset is fine, but the rest of the gown is awful.
This is kinda tragic – that is such a gorgeous, edgy gown and I love Shruti for choosing it, but the makeup and hair are such downers; the potential of the dress makes the failure of the look such a disappointment.
Suzanne does look lovely. I like the gown, it’s so refreshing to see something non-satiny. Shruti can do so much better. Wish she wore the version on the model. But she still kind of looks nice.

After a longish gap, am seeing susanne looking nice and fresh faced-its a boring colour combo/print but she looks lovely. As for Shruti.. very meh.. the design on the model is far better

Shruti’s gown is lovely, but she can’t pull off that sexy, seductive look/vibe which this dress has, just isn’t working on her…..
What are you all joking? Shruthi looks great, LOVEEE her dress and her hair is cute it wouldn’t have looked nice had it been straight .. maybe some sort of updo may have worked but she looks amazing! Suzanne always looks washed out to me so maybe when looking at them side by side I can’t help but, well, take Shruthi’s side.

Suzanne looks great! She’s got a great complexion and besides no one is too pale to wear beige! I love the print of her dress, the whole thing is understated and neutral as opposed to bling nowadays…the minimalism of the nineties is back in fashion as they are saying..Suzanne is obviously aware of it!
Omigoshis that Shruti Hassan..I dismissed the picture altogether..I am surprised by this look..hopefully its a one-off slip coz she deserves more credit usually!

Honestly, I don’t think these two dresses are meant to be floor-length gowns. Look how good they look short on the models! Basically, I’m not really feeling either of the looks.
Shruthi’s outfit reminds me of the hideous outfit Malika Sherawat once wore for an award function…..

Firstly, wrong silhouette for her Body type..
And then follows the list of wrongs.. Wrong color,wrong make- up, wrong hair..
The dress, skin tone, lip color and hair- all merge into one and make her look like a 2- D card board cut out!!
Shruti looks fabulous…sure, she could have capitalized on the look more but at least he has none of the over the top crap goin around like most others at any bollywood event.
Personally I love nothing more than these kinds of nude-coloured dresses with punchy black accents. They are sexy and look really stylish. Given my love for this colour combination, I love Suzanne’s dress so much. But Shruti’s does fall flat…maybe it is the hair and makeup?
Susanne looks really cute in that dress. It’s playful and elegant at the same time.
Shruti, on the other hand, looks neither here nor there. The dress tries to be interesting but the rest of her outfit isn’t carrying it through. Overall the appearance is boring.
Shruti is a nice looking girl but this makes her look vbad; the outfit looks like lingerie meets truck! I like Suzanne’s version much more!
