Way too much going on with the bright colors in the saree and blouse, the border, the jewelry. But she’s making it work in a way only she can.

Too bright, she looks great though. The blouse and sari pattern is very South Indian look. The blouse could have been more fitted (covered) at the shoulder and breast.
Its Karwachauth…she looks lovely as she is…wont change a thing!…I don’t think we should get apologetic for wearing festive colors…

What a beautiful Benarasi saree!! I wish Sabyasachi hadn’t added the border on a classic and quintessential weave from Benares. Sridevi looks lovely, loved every bit of this look .
Pairing this saree with a more muted blouse would have elevated this look. But given that it’s Sridevi, OTT was to be expected.
It’s a festive occasion…so this is entirely event-appropriate. But for the love of God, why are you trailing that lovely pallu on the ground??

Its a Banarasi silk saree and Sabya has just added border to it and has turned into a so called designer wear and thereby, has ruined otherwise beautiful handloom piece!
