Changing It Up

Not fond of the sari but Sri makes it work. And as much as she does make it work, it still falls short. Mostly for no fault of hers, it’s the sari.

Too bad the one time she took a break from her ombré saris, the look fell so flat.

  3. This saree is so reminiscent of all the chiffon and georgette embroidered sarees that the Bombay designers have been consistently dishing out since the last 10 years!

  6. What are you saying P &P – she rocks it.. The saree on its own I wld never pick .. but Sri has it all right.. the hair, jewellery everything…
As an aside am not the one for Sleeveless / halters etc with such formal Sarees and have seen many a woman destroy there beautiful sarees because of that.. but everytime I see Sri with those blouses. I am tempted to try one myself…

  7. she loves her georgette ‘cocktail’ saree numbers , doesn’t she? Even though SHE looks fantastic and seems to look younger by the day, I love her best in her south indian silks and temple jewelery. I wish she’d wear those more.

She sure does rock the sari and looks too great for her age,but something about her face does not make me go wow everytime I look at her!!

  9. I have to disagree P&P, she looks fabulous. Its an ordinary saree but she just elevates it to another level. The make-up is spot on and she looks sensuous and gorgeous. Wow!!

  10. Sri shud wear more colors which will suit her vivacious personality! whats up with boring beiges and greys?! the color makes her look washed out….she can do better than this!

  11. Im doubting whether even ombre look good on her..she does the hair, makeup accessories – total look well but her choice of saris im not sure! i see her wearing colors&silks only in the south but in bombay shes opting for synthetic saris

  12. Well Sri jus rocks in saree…n I think she should continue wearing sari every now n then for the simple reason ie today’s generation have just ruined the look of this beautiful attire(priyanka@national award,Amish@Shilpa s reception etc etc).Today’s generation can learn a lesson or two from her.
