In Rheson
While arriving back to Mumbai, Sonam was spotted wearing separates from Rheson‘s latest 80s inspired collection with Adidas sneakers.
I’ll give it to the Kapoor sisters for always wearing their label as much as they can and coming up with unique prints that makes them stand out. Especially considering there are so many celebrity labels out there now.
As to the quality, you tell me. Have you gotten yourself something from their line?

She looks fresh and fabulous at the same time……LOVE!!!!
Ha ha… U r gng out of the way to ‘give it to the Kapoor sisters’…
Hah, we’ve resolved to the fact that we’ll never win the “we aren’t biased towards Sonam” argument. ;)
Not as long as you nitpick everybody else.
P&P:
With due respect to all the followers, after all its primarily your space and you are fully entitled to your opinions n your biases n your voices :)
On a different note, I love this look, and I am going to check the price next to see if I can afford to buy :)
Give me one good Rheason to buy this stuff ?
Is this a paid endorsement or something?
No, we are trying to find out if anyone has dabbled in Rheson and how the quality is. :P
You are being too kind. Yes, some of their prints are quirky but the design is so sloppy. Dowdy clothes, sleepwear marketed as regular clothes; those saree experiments are plain weird! Not to mention there’s little harmony among the different designs within the SAME collection! If they are serious about moving forward as a streetwear/ athleisure brand they need to figure out who their competitors are. I can get way better designs from Pantaloons or Westside at the same price.
Interesting!
I agree.. i think their sensibilities appeal only to a few cos most designs are meant to be worn as lounge wear.. i will pay a little extra and get something classier from zara instead…
also the quality is not that great.
Totally agree!
Their prints are quirky. But since Masaba they’ve been done to death already. Most of them anti-fit or slouchy. Their quality is just average. It looks to me like they buy 5mt of fabric and then make a dress out of it somehow.
Girls like me,the short stout types can’t carry them off. Or maybe it’s just me.
Sonam looks good in almost everything so that’s their best advertisement.
Agree. I think to say prints are unique is a bit too flattering (even if you get paid for it, maybe you can praise something else?). The trendsetter in quirky prints and making them mainstream is undoubtedly Masaba. Putting a TV instead of a lipstick is just taking a leaf out of someone else’s book. Maybe itd be interesting to hear your comment on design, cut, similarities with other brands/designers.
Agreed. Unique isn’t the right term perhaps. When you compare the label to other celebrity-label brands (and only them) that are in India right now, their prints seem to stand out a bit more. Most others seem to follow doing prints that is the current trend or or putting their tag on mass produced items by whole-sale retailers.
I agree with Payal on the print. If not unique, at least its original unlike other celebrity brands which look like/ actually are knock-offs of other designer (case in point: Anushka Sharma’s Nushk knocked off a Thai streetwear brand). But their designs leave a lot to desire. I am all for a good slouchy sweater or a baggy dress but they have to be done right.
i thought anil kapoorji would have you warned about not bringing back disastrous 80’s look since he was the first hand victim of that eras fashion…kapoor sisters dont listen do they…
If its did not have their tags on , you will not pick the stuff, fabric is BAD BAD BAD. lame designs and just dull colors , nothing stands out. Saw it in Mumbai Shoppers Stop. Prices are not affordable.
Completely agree , the quality is so bad. it’s major polyester and top of that such high price i can buy linen outfit…
I am supersized that Sonam who wear all the top brand could able to see the shabby stitching quality ??
Love Sonam’s face without makeup, she looks so fresh and pretty
What she’s wearing is basically a POTATO SACK with prints on them. If a tall girl like Sonam can look like Gwyneth Paltrow from Shalow Hal, shorter women like Rani are gonna look like a soccer ball in this outfit. I feel their design misses the whole point at times just because they want to stand out and be different. Also their prints and cuts cater to the 8-14 age groups.
I own a bag from their brand and adore it! Well stitched, really good quality material and an awesome design. It’s that brown bucket bag with a potli style bag nestled within. Love all their prints but sadly can’t buy any because I hate wearing polyester.
I happened to see it at a mall recently and it was a major disappointment. Bad Bad quality , crumpled , slouchy ,dull. There was nothing to like .Plus the heavy price! I wouldn’t wear it even if I got it for free
Perhaps the no-make up show with the brand is to showcase that Rheason can be worn by all. New advertising techniques, clever :)
Drab. Not sold on the 80’s theme..if thats what they aim at emdorsing.. a bright shade of lipstick would have done the trick. May be a high ponytail could have worked well..
This you ‘give to them’ but earlier post nitpicked on Diana’s brow sandals :))
Most of their regular wear stuff are SHITTY. Very bad material and look horrible on anyone who’s not 5.7+. But I bought a very very good quality long sweater in red(its listed as a granda Cardi on Shoppers Stop) from the collection and it was very lovely. I used it for three months of Bombay Winter, now its in storage and I will take it out again next winter.
I mostly buy stuff from Zara and Vero Moda. But these days I also have taken a liking to Deepika’s brand, the Indian wear and daily office wear is EXTREMELY wearable, which is the crucial factor for someone like me. I dont want something that is good as an idea but looks crappy in the mirror. I also like Label Life a LOT – I have bought swimsuits, clothes, home decor, earrings, shoes- its all very good.
