In Lavish Alice

For the taping of Vogue BFF, Sonakshi sported a blue Lavish Alice suit with clear pvc sandals and earrings from Misho. Although I haven’t personally warmed up to the asymmetric ruffle pants, I do like them when styled well. Can’t say that was the case here though. Wearing them with that blazer that also had its exaggerated sleeves made the look feel a bit clownish.
I, clearly, didn’t like this. Did you?

A case of following trends blindly. Why on earth would u wear this as a full suit.
I love the colour and the fit. The makeup is spot on and she looks lovely.
My only gripe is that either the sleeves or the trousers should have been flared not both . Preferably just the sleeves . Then it would have been a gorgeous look. As it is , it’s too matchy matchy as if they are underlining the fact that it’s a matching suit .
I think she shud have chose either one ruffle pants of ruffle blazer !
For a Vogue event, ill take the ruffled pants. What irks me is the stripper shoes! Even nude / pinkish pumps would have looked better!!
The main key to a good outfit is proportions, thanks to the ruffles on the sleeves and pants the proportions are off which makes the outfit looks several notches below would could have been.
I think the pants look great. Imagine how cool the look would have been if it had been normal sleeves on the blazer and a decent pair of shoes.
Longer and shorter sleeve would look more proportionate.
I actually love this look from her, and its such a difficult one to pull off!!
