Ruhi, whose Miss India journey was featured in the documentary The World Before Her, attended the Filmfare Awards wearing a Monisha Jaising gown.
The gown, one of my favorites from the collection, was on my wishlist for Malaika but let’s get back to Ruhi, shall we?
What am confused about here is that within the course of a few hours, she seemed to have gone through two sets of hairdo and bracelets. If you ask me, she looked best in the far right look. Her red carpet (far left) look was the one that I disliked the most. The white bracelet stuck out like a sore thumb.

I really loved this modern take on the traditional sari!! Who said that you can experiment with the traditional weaves!! Btw the model does not carry the dress well!! It has so much scope to look awesome, but here it looks pretty ok
I think she looks great. The dressing is amazing. Also I don’t understand the tiara (or is that a chandelier)
Bloody waste of a perfectly good saree. Booooo for cutting it up.
I am wondering – how do they wash and iron such clothes with all that crumpling? I guess these are never meant to be washed and worn again! :p
