Rakul attended Children’s Day celebrations at Apollo Hospital keeping it simple in a mono-chromatic Divya Reddy kurta suit. Given the place and event, I love that she didn’t go for a glitzy starry look. The suit was quite an apt pick.
My only minor gripe about this look is the footwear. While I love kolhapuris, the black pair just seemed too stark and awkward with the rest of the outfit. A regular brown pair would have worked better here and not drawn too much attention to them.

Wow she looks so simple and pretty. So apt for the event as well. Perhaps the pants could’ve been longer to prevent the chappals from looking awkward.

Pretty. Nah, these chappals are mighty fine. Those wedge kolapuris particularly in brown and gold are the fugly ones, so glad she didn’t opt for those.
