Ambassador for a toothpaste brand, Priyanka attended an event for it on Sunday wearing a green Shift off-shoulder top with striped Zara culottes. Hair in a ponytail, her look was finished out with an Intrinsic choker and light pink strappy sandals.
Even if we could ignore the fit of the top that seemed a bit off, we couldn’t quite ignore the footwear pick here. Instead of tying the look together, the pointed-toed strappy sandals made the overall outfit feel a bit disconnected.

By that logic Deepika copied Sonam, Jackie and Lisa Haydon’s looks… They wore similar outfits before her. Anyways it’s a trend, everyone’s wearing it. They all get styled by their stylists then why blame the celebrity? I think Priyanka carried the look better than the rest I’ve seen it on.
I agree Anita. When I first saw Deepika in her last post, sleeves of her dress instantly reminded me of Jackie’s black separates. It isn’t that Deepika was copying Jackie and even here, PC isn’t copying Deepika. It is all a part of trend and each celeb is wearing their look the way they want to (no matter how similar patterned outfits they are!). When it comes to trends, its the styling that makes a difference.
Anyway, with this look – Hmmm. I don’t like it as much. Have seen Priyanka doing wayy better. Also, the look feels incomplete. She should have swapped that black choker to another better accessory. Maybe its just me, but I dislike those pants more.
I always wonder what it means when someone says so and so is copying so and so’s style. These off shoulder tops, dresses are all the rage for some time now. Everyone ( celeb or not) is wearing them. Does that mean they are all copying Deepika? Everyone has the right to wear the latest :)
Precisely. Usually copying is when people copy mannerisms more than clothing. :P
Terrible. And those “sleeves” are back. And what’s with the wrong shoes and jewellery.
UPK I don’t know about copy. These outfits are everywhere where I live. Kind of generic.
She looks good. Could have been better without the choker. She looks really pretty in that last pic.

Not liking this overall look – the sleeves are not my cup of tea, wrong shoes for the outfit (colour and style) and the hairstyle looks too severe.
What’s wrong with the fit of the top? It’s looks fine to me. Agree about the shoes..she needed sleek black ankle strap sandals or color blocked pumps in a grey/black type of combination.
PS. P&P, would love to see your recommendations when you don’t like/agree with some styling steps. For example, here when you say you can’t overlook the shoes, please add a note about what you would have liked to see instead. It’s helpful! Thanks!
Them bottoms have spoiled the look.Anything else would have made it better. Too severe on the eye and makes you search for the women in the look ….not for everyone i guess
the bad fit of the top jumps out. the outfit doesnt really come together because of the choker and the shoes.
i think this choker trend has overstayed its visit. Enough of it. Just because a kendal jenner wore it once, doesn’t mean every celebrity needs to wear it. Make your own trend. Anyway this one is really not revolutionary.
Not too crazy about the style of the top but PC looks pretty good, except maybe those shoes. Love her hair and make-up though.

The choker doesn’t go with the top. The pants don’t go with the top. The shoes don’t go with the pants!
