In Elie Saab
At the Mumbai dinner for Bumble, Priyanka was seen in a sparkly Elie Saab gown, one that she looked fabulous in. Wearing the hair up made such a world of a difference here.

Looking fantastic.. but I don’t like the wisps of hair on the sides.
Did MxS copy their skirt looks from this design ;)
She looks gorgeous. The background messes up the otherwise perfect picture of Priyanka. As a brown person in America I love how she’s representing her people chura and sindoor included.
She isn’t representing anyone. She has a very strong PR team. What brown… the lady looks “fairer” than she was. I like her in movies, but I would not be blind to think that she is representing me or India
LOL it is silly to think she is representing us and India. She is there for her career and fame. I don’t want her to represent me or my country either.
Is that her mangalsutra?
Yes.
The length of the dress is bothering me.
If she’s gonna wear the choora, sindoor and mangalsutra why not wear something traditional?
This is what happens when you are a Bollywood star but a Hollywood wannabe.
And yet, we wonder how nasty articles like the one in The Cut get past editors?
When your own people pull you down what can you expect from others?
Nothing about pulling down .. infact she is making the whole look quite artificial. If this was worn by a common person or some lesser known actresseweould have been highly critical about the whole look. Ifhe is really respecting the tradition then she shud be wearing something Indian and spot a complete Indian look. Not sure how many people are going to Be offended this time :)
The Cut would be cut to size if it had been about any one else… not just PC.
I agree, I didn’t read the article but the jest of it news was just horrible!
Why do people purposely try to be so hateful to a person who has done no harm? Isn’t there enough hatred in the world already. I was also surprised when Priyanka started dating Nick. I just felt she deserved someone better but then thought what’s the harm in little fun? But looking at the wedding pictures, I think its great they found each-other Priyanks has the energy and looks to marry a fun, loving and caring young guy. Congratulations to both of them. and wishing them a lot of happiness in their married life.
Going to the post, it’s everything I don’t like together (Indian styling and western clothes), but surprisingly I don’t know why I am not hating it. totally neutral.
I like this nod to tradition. Nothing wrong with mixing it up. She was seen in plenty desi outfits the past couple of weeks.
I think the event called for a western outfit.. what I love is despite the outfit she wore her mangalsutra
I love that dress! Priyanka looks great!
I think she looks great.
No photos of the Bombay reception or is that after the AmbNi do?
I don’t think the sindoor and chooda go with that outfit.
Rainbow sequin is everywhere this holiday season!
She looks lovely
It’s so much like that amazing Missoni dress that Constance Wu wore in Crazy Rich Asians.
Wannabe.
Bit too much.. sindoor, chooda and that multi coloured sequins are all competing for attention. even a bottle green sequinned dress (like the one Kareena wore for deepveer’s reception would have been better!
She is taking the newly wed look to another tacky level.
Am I the only one who hates this dress? Faceup she looks lovely. Love the makeup and hair.
Love the whole package. And extra marks for wearing the Chooda and mangalutra. Specially in a world where so much bulls*** is passed of in the name of feminism. It’s really nice of her to hold to her own and own up her traditions
Priyanka looks like every newlywed woman partying in Goa during her honeymoon.
Hahahaha. As a Goan, completely agree! She’s doing what Indian brides do.
Absolutely. One round at the Delhi Terminal T3 during Nove- Feb, you can spot 100s of similar North-Indian brides leaving for honeymoon. As a Delhite, this is a very common sight for me. I don’t understand why people make such a big deal out of it.
BTW, my honeymoon pics too have me wearing such dresses with chooda, mehendi, sindoor, and mangalsutra.
She looks very sweet. Is it me or do her eyebrows look a little ashy, though? Should’ve probably gone a little darker while filling them in.
She looks fab and love the ” I just got married but the girl’s gotta work ” look. The dress and the finishing touches give it such a personal style and attitude statement. I for one love it!
This is probably the first time I think choora bangles, mehendi and mangalsutra are blending well with western clothes. Rest of the time it just looks like those honeymoon couple in Goa/ Maldives etc.
Actually no, even Deepika pulled it off with red reception gown too.
She looks good but I don’t like the bangles and sindoor with this outfit. Should’ve left them out.
That mangalsutra was designed for low cut dresses/gowns to make your cleavage look good.
She ‘s looking gorgeous and can some one tell me which lipstick shade is this and can i get some other brand similar ones. looks great on her and Nick i am having crush on him:);)
Try Mac Chilli or Sugar Matte as Hell Crayon in the shade Jackie Brown. Both warm rusty oranges.
