An Almost Ditto!

Padma’s recent appearance reminded us quite a bit of Dia from the Pond’s Event held last year. Both wore empire waist printed green maxis, pairing it with long necklaces and while Dia gave us a simple girl next door look with her outfit, Padma’s was a tad more risque.
Who do you like better?

Love Padma’s look. Diya is just trying too hard.
Padma Lalshmi is a sexy lady (have you SEEN her Carl’s Jr. adds?)..but this dress I do not like

Both are poles apart & nice in their own ways. No point of comparison here.
I do wish though that Dia had skipped the black beads.
I like Padma’s outfit better waist down. Dia isn’t charming here but I have a greater fondness for her.
Diya looks way more decent… Wish she didnt wear the BLACK neckpiece… I mean BLACK?? with white and green?? nah.. otherwise I like the fact that she isnt showing a whole lot of cleavage like Padma..

Both are good in their own way.. Dia is less bold.. And we love Dee in that way !!
dia’s dress is nicer, but padma’s accessorizing is better…
Diya basically killed the outfit…if you dont have what it takes to carry off a certain look dont bother trying to fix it…cant imagine the designer would be happy with this version
Padma’s neckline is not risque – its just plain disgusting, esp in the close-up. Like Dia’s better but the beads are so off. Also, she is launching a Ponds product, so she seems more made-up than Padma who on a hot summer day is just attending a premiere (not acting in the movie).

The beads dont go well with that dress on Diya but i think both achieved what they intended. Diya’s very casual and Padma’s is more of a “dressed up” look.
I like Padma’s look better, Diya’s is very nice too, but dont get the black beads at all. And i dont see how Padma’s look is disgusting as some have put it, she looks fine and its summer and she is appropriately dressed, come on!
there is something off about Diya’s dress, the length and perhaps the green border at the bottom makes it looks a bit odd. Makes her look a little bottom heavy which she is not.
Both of them look good and do justice to their personalities.
They both look good – Dia would look better minus the black beads. Who designed these dresses? Is it the same designer?
