From learning how to wear a sari (from Aishwarya) to wearing one herself (a Tarun Tahiliani), Oprah sure has come a long way!
While we loved her for going the whole nine-yards (literally), we are more intrigued by the lady (to her right) in the Sabyasachi. Anyone know who she is?
Update: The girl in black is Oprah’s goddaughter Kirby.

It’s Aishwarya Rai I reckon.
Oprah has such a strong persona which is way beyond any designer outfits and stuff like that…I am huge fan and love her so much in whatever she wears….but to talk about the outfit…the color looks great on her and not at all awkward (as it does on most of non-indians) and smile is so genuine.

Doesn’t look like Gayle. She looks nicer in the chiffon sari. The more recent one reminds me of Serena Williams in a sari which was bad.

The lady next to Oprah is most probably her best friend Gayle :) She usually travels with Oprah and is known to also work on Oprah’s new network OWN.

No that’s not Aishwarya. Reports said that Oprah went to the Bachchan household first to see them and their newborn then went with them to the party. However, she e left the party with this lady in black.

I don’t think it’s Aish, this woman is dark skinned and her smile is different.
That’s Kirby Bumpus King, Oprah’s god daughter and best friend Gayle King’s daughter.
That is Oprahs God Daughter Kirby in the black Sabyasachi outfit from Sabyasachis new line – Sabyasachi by Sabyasachi. She is in Mumbai with Oprah and was accompanying her to Aishwaryas house and then to the Godrej dinner later.
Oprah looks wonderful and I truly admire her. The color combination goes well with your skin tone.
