The mustard/gold color and the choker halter detail were a bit much for my taste which is why I didn’t like this Gavin Miguel number on Mugdha. Your thoughts?

I love it n the color looks nice on her
you should see the back of this dress you will hate it even more…
Hm. The color seems a bit washed out, and the dress almost pageant-y. I think if she put her hair up and chosen studs/small drops instead it would look better.
she looks perfect, the look is matchy matchy but suits the occasion. Mugdha also has a good shape to make this gown look good on her
I don’t think it’s the color as much as it is the …sashes(?) at ther wasit. They ruin what would have been a very clean and elegant line and make her look shorter and rolly-polly-ish. Horizontal lines (if you have any curves at all) are a big no no.
I think the dress is very different, but I just wish the designer made it in a different color…perhaps a navy blue or a black.
The gown is a bit OTT but I love it! Love her makeup and how she accessorized it with those earrings, clutch and the cocktail ring.
Can’t see the shoes, the only thing I don’t like about this ensemble are the red nails, looks tacky.
She looks FAB overall!
I don’t mind that colour and I like the way the gown is all flowy… but hate how it clings and the wierd details on the waist
I like this a lot. I’ve always been a mugdha fan in terms of style and look and this is no exception… I love the black bit coming out of the train in the dress.. it’s different. I think she looks better than sonam kapoor at this one event so thats a good thing. Mugdha is definitely one to look out for!
The gown is TOO TIGHT on her. There are folds on the thighs because of this. It does not drape smoothly. Nit her size at all
whats with the tacky detail on the waist? i like the neckline and the color is tolerable…..but the waist details and OTT accessories ruin it for me. she can do so much better…

Her dress is alright but the earrings ruin the entire look! Studs would have been way better
i like the halter detail and dont mind the colour
but the real put off for me is the detailing on the midriff area
just noticed a piece of black fabric at the back at the bottom
is there some black at the back of the dress???

Average dress, beautiful lady. She looks stunning.
no need for the earings. less fuss on the dress and maybe a deeper orange and then this wud have been a great look.
i think she fared much better then her co-stars from Fashion..but yea definitely not blown away..funny how the leading ladies of the movie FASHION were amongst the worst dressed.

Actually the gown is OTT so it didn’t require such big earings.
She could have done better with this gown.. The gown itself fails to impress.. BTW, almost everyone here wore Manav Gangwani .. is he the official dress designer for IIFA or soemthing ??

Don’t like that dress much. Agree with Kimmy. Even her expression is pageant-y!!
WOW, she looks beautiful!! OK, I would have gotten rid of the earrings but I think that if she went dressed like this to a western awards show she’d be praised to death. I don’t feel like typing so I will say I agree with what jiji said up above.

I know that the dress is black behind….its very chic and unconventional…this designer knows his game.
