Designer Manish Malhotra will be teaching a course and at the launch which was also attended by good friend Malaika, the latter was seen in a sequin jumpsuit by the designer.
Sure she wore the jumpsuit well but does anyone else think the draped sash feels like an after-thought? (Especially once you notice the second pic where the back of the sash is almost on the floor.)

cheap-looking material, amateurish drape/design
Took me a few minutes to recognise Malaika , with so much material (albeit cheap sheer curtain ) draped over her .
HAHAHA! It looks exactly like how I used to drape my mum’s dupatta as a kid, pretending it was a saree!
She looks nice but the jumpsuit looks tacky! The sash looks inexpensive. The outfit would have fared better without it.
This is good tutorial for what to NOT do…maybe that was his intention
Whatever, im just relieved that Malaika is exploring full length clothes these days rather than her itsy bitsy outfits. Baby steps!
