In Shyamal and Bhumika
At the Hiru Golden Film Awards in Sri Lanka, Madhuri was seen in a green Shyamal and Bhumika anarkali with jewellery from Aquamarine.
If at first glance, you felt that this was a Sabyasachi, you weren’t alone. Between the color and the net underskirt, I was pretty sure it was one.
Coming back to her look, I didn’t quite like the line running through the bust, but she still looked nice.

Goshhh..I first checked the pics and instantly thought it to be Sabya’s creation. The colour combination, embroidery, sequin bodice, hemline, all scream Sabya! Outfit imo is looking overwhelming on Madhuri. Moreover it is looking incomolete without dupatta!
Madhuri likes the gaudy traditional wear . But this is super heavy even for her. Please, remember it’s not your wedding !
Gosh…she is looking happy, confident and charming. She has a gorgeous face. She must have worked on her shoulders… looking gr8. The anarkali is not too heavy or voluminous . A dupatta would have added too much of fabric and screamed wedding. It is a great choice to wear something Indian in a foreign country.
sabhyasachi..noo”,
anyways she is lookinh beautiful !
This particular designer duo has many more Sabya ‘inspired’ creations. I recently spotted a sari on their insta page similar to the Sabyasachi one worn by Priyanka Bose to TIFF.
Same dhinchak. Lol. She just loves the gaudy + tacky.
She manages to look great because she totally owns the look. I am not a fan of her style but her presence and confidence always makes it work.
This is really too gaudy for words. And that hair!
She’s still stuck nineties
Maar daala! That too not in a good way.
