From Cover to Runway
Loveleen Tandan was spotted at Roopa Vohra’s jewellery preview show in the same red churidaar kurta that she was wore for the cover of India Today Woman. Instead of wearing her outfit with a dupatta, she broke the all red color scheme with a white cropped jacket and black kolhapuri style slipons.
Loved her look. You?
You can read her interview in India Today Woman here.

she is one pretty women! she breaks the norms in dressing, but it always looks good. she also wore a jacket on top of her sari at oscars…maybe she likes to combine the east with the west…
i really like it
simple and classy
I don’t know much about this woman, but what Ive seen of her so far, I like. :) She’s classy. and always seems so full of life!
I like the look, but the necklace seems out of place.
This look could have gone the 80s hindi movie poonam dhillon fashion route but Loveleen applied the brakes just in time! Nice save :)
Those are PRATAP Chappals. Loveleen is also featured in March issue of Hi Blitz! magazine wearing a great outfit and the same chappals… She obviouly adores them and they look comfy too :) Unique style the lady has, me thinks.
theres something very endearing about her…..probly her brilliant smile :)
very classy
now that i see the picture again, i love the brocade bag too
she’s so lovely just like her name! :)
Oh, sorry to post again, but just realised who she reminds me of REENA ROY, actress in the old days, 70-80s I think??
she looks cute, but i do not like the slippers and the necklace on top. the outfit itself is pretty jarring, with the red suit and white jacket on top, so the slippers and necklace make it even more busy.
I really like it. So simple, so classy. Loveleen is really pretty!!
What a beautiful woman! She reminds me of Shefali Shetty (from Monsoon Wedding). I love her sense of style; she does fusion in a way that is stylish, chic and not jarring. I loved the sari she wore at the Oscars, and I’m glad to she she’s getting recognition for her talent. Frankly, she should be getting even more attention, but seems to be overshadowed by less deserving members of the Slumdog crew (cough, Freida, cough).
I don’t really like the sandals (they look a bit manly) but I love the rest of her outfit. The lovely smile is just icing on the cake!
The jacket is a nice touch instead of the dupatta.. i am not sure about the black kolhapuris but she looks nice. I like the tiny jhola like thing as well
The third photo really does that great cherry color justice..as Loveleen does the outfit!
Umm, who wears jewellery like that on top of a kurta? I’m not digging this one.
jiji,
Loveleen was showcasing the jewellery (by Roopa Vohra) for the runway. Am guessing they just handed it to her the day of.
I dont like the neckpiece on loveleen and then realised that she was walking for a jewellery show…so probably the jewellery designer reeta vohra does not have a good collection. I loved the chappals and the jacket with the indian ensemble…..very chic and confident
She is indeed classy.
But I quite did not like plain white shrug and a high neck kurta for showcasing jewllery .
Her smile is the best accessory here..
What is she wearing, red with white and black Chapals, i thought it just happened but I guess it didnt and she design it!
she is simply the best.,down to earth, she knows human values,
