Katrina made an appearance on day two of GQ Fashion nights wearing a rather bold Philipp Plein. The gown with its cutout bodice and thigh-high slit was worn with a wet middle parted do and a bold red lip.
Jewellery from Gehna and Anmol and Jimmy Choo pumps finished out her look.
There is no denying that the gown looked amazing on her but I have to admit I was a bit underwhelmed at first glance. Given the hairdo had the wet effect I would’ve preferred a matte-lip. But, if you ask me, smoky eyes and a nude lip would’ve really sealed the deal for me.

Gosh! What an mazing body.. but the overall look is still very underwhleming. She just does not look sexy or hot which you would think someone with that body and dress would easily achieve.
I came here to write the same. also the tan is too obvious and looks orangey in some pictures
God! Looking sexy or hot is no achievement, and not everyone even aspires or cares for it !!
Having a fit body is not just a tool to look sexy.
She’s always had a sweet disposition about her, why everyone should be expected to look exactly the same is beyond me.

Absolute stunner!
Katrina is a very fit woman, however there is a fine, precarious line between looking classy and not so much. Here, she kind of veers towards the latter. For me, its a bit Malaika Arora Khan on a bad day.
I personally love it! So out of her usual comfort zone, she doesn’t do cutouts like these often and she looks AMAZING!!
Her body looks amazing and she carries of the dress really nicely . However for a fierce look like this the hair and makeup and heels are too proper and formal , probably to give her something of her usual style . I would have preferred the hair atleast to be not so harsh giving her face some warmth .
Completely agree with you on that P&P. This look needed smokey eyes and a nude lip. The red lips and the make-up look really harsh..a little scary actually. What a fit body though

The dress suits her well and flaunts her fit body. But the styling let’s her down. The hair looks blah. The contour or bronzer something is wrong with her base. And those shiny red lips are the biggest problem. Nude lips and smoky eyes would’ve made it work . On the ramp the dress was worn with boots which would’ve been better. Overall a not quite.

I like her shoes. No doubt she is fit and fab but I dunno, I feel like this is a try-hard look. Something about it seems off to me. In general I prefer dresses where there’s one body part of display, this looks a bit messy to me. Frankly she looks fab when she’s casual, jeans and a ganji, that sort of thing.
Naah..don’t quite like. Some look hot even in rags while some, however much they try, fillers, hot bods, hotter outfits, nothing is gonna work for them. The secret is personality or lack of it.
She looks amazing. Such a fit & apt body to wear that gown with all that cut out works besides Ms. Shetty. The only thing is that tan, her natural skin tone is good why bother it with stupid tanning I wonder.
No doubt she’s in great shape and she carries it well. The makeup is not up to par. It’s just not flattering her face at all.

This is such a trashy look and a horrid dress. She’s a beautiful girl with a fantastic body but here she looks like she’s trying too hard. Bad styling.
The hair in a tight sleek bun and smoky eyes would have really elevated this look! it’s a meh for me
Kudos to her for a giving a complete 180. This is such a bold and daring look for her – that I like by default. Yes, there are make up issues – but they don’t bring the look down. There are other people featured on this site who consistently have ghastly make up, but are never called out upon.
In the second picture, she looks like a wax version of herself !!
whoaaaaa!! cant believe its her! finally the Kat is out of the bag :) i think she was waiting to loose so much weight before she does such a bold look!! all the curves are replaced with an athletic angular body…. Man!!
I think she deliberately toned it down and didn’t go a raunchy way- katarina follows the formula of old bollywood sirens (barring zeenat aman) who wear bold clothes but still try to project an innocent look.

That is an amazing body. But, somehow the gown, not distasteful, but has a ‘bondage wear’ vibe going on. However the makeup is atrocious.
