Kareena on Vogue: (Un)Covered

Comment image 21

Vogue’s Mar edition, an art + fashion one, features Kareena on the cover in a Prada dress with artwork by Thukral and Tagra. While I loved the artwork and the dress pick, the two don’t quite come together and I blame the pose. It’s killing the effect of the cover a bit for me.

The rest of the shoot, though, is great. Take a look inside.

  1. Just hated this shoot, kareena’s vibe so doesn’t fit the kitschy feel of this shoot! Its been imagined with someone like Zooey deschanel in mind…

  2. Unsubtle pout really doesn’t give the flower-child vibe! I’d say they should have cast someone else altogether for it. Colors are fantastic though.

  3. I don’t like this Latina look on Kareena and the flower is super unnecessary also. This dress would’ve looked cuter styled a bit differently on Alia. It doesn’t suit the mature look of Kareena.

  4. Kareena needs to realise its okay to have her picture taken without putting on that stupid pout. Makes her seem teenage-y ( not in a good way !)

  5. why is Vogue styling Kareena Kapoor like a teenie bopper wanna be? She’s a gorgeous woman who could have rocked so many better looks than the one she is shown in….I don’t like the dress on the cover at all..

  6. She looks too mature for this shoot, and comes out looking like a teen wannabe. Alia or Shraddha Kapoor would have looked much better as they give a fresh / younger vibe.

  7. I love Kareena in the red-pink shorts and the pink dress. The expressions might not be very cutesy but i do not think that she is too mature for this at all.

  8. Pink dress is lovely on her. The best thing is that they have kept the photoshopping done at a minimum. This shoot definitely has the Seventeen vibe all over it.
