In Indian By Manish Arora
Wearing an Indian By Manish Arora printed tunic, Kajol attended a book launch in Delhi on Wednesday. On the runway, the glittery gold leggings added to the tunic’s kitsch factor. In pairing it with black leggings, just about all of it was lost.
Colored tights, a skinny gold belt and some different sandals is what the top really needed. Seem a lil’ far-fetched? A year ago, we would’ve thought so too, but look at how far she’s come.

The kurta is so cute and has so much potential. It doesn’t look good on Kajol at all.
I think it looks frumpy because of the angle she is photographed from. Otherwise its casual and comfy outfit. A skinny belt might have been a nice addition though. It would have highlighted the colorful print.
what a tunic, what a face – alas together they’re not being made to work – maybe the shoes, maybe the leggings? but what a face :)
I agree with you in theory, but maybe the gold leggings look might have been a little overwhelming for a book launch, which is why she perhaps chose black leggings instead. I do dislike the footwear though.
That shapeless kurta, black leggings and those hideous fugly shoes. All scream Wthey.
Instead of a belt, the chest area should be a little more fitted on Kajol. On a broad-shouldered, flat-chested runway model this is fall beautifully. As for those black leggings – I don’t think they look so bad on Kajol. I don’t think anyone would expect her to wear something more loud with that tunic anyway.
Most Indian designers copy Pakistani designers I feel. Though I am an Indian I feel Indians should maintain bit originality
She chooses the ugliest footwear always. Ruins any outfit she wears.
love her hair though..
