Mrs Bachchan looked rather lovely at the IIFA event… if only her salwar length had been right, she would have absolutely nailed it! Brings this previous appearance of hers to our mind!
On an aside, if you like the silhouette/design of her clutch but don’t have the moolah to burn on an ‘exotic’ then Lauren Merkin is a great option! At 200$ its still pricey but not so much when you compare it to other high-end ‘exotic’ clutches out there! And, you do get quality!

Her face and hair are perfect – even gives the cute Guddi vibes from decades ago. Dress is okay.
She is not that tall…a chudidar (pajami) would have been classic looking and more put together
this dress is on a drab side for me. some colour would have been better. this is very monotonous. the clutch is good- stand alone, but here it merges with the dress.

Her face and hair looks ok compared to her usual appearance. But dress is blah! Somebody from show biz family and associated with showbiz for so many decades doesn’t deserve to get kudos for an average looking salwar and look. (and esply with huge resources…designers and money)
and the other thing I hate is she puts in some effort to dress up only if her family is the brand ambassador or winning awards at the function (Amitabh Bachchan is the IIFA brand ambassador ).
Other times her look is just below average and edges on dowdy.
