I like the pink one. But I think to pull it off without looking matronly, you have got to be quite a bit thin. And the mini-skirt version could look great too!
stylo and kashmira,
A jacket with work like that costs upwards of $2000. I won’t be surprised if this skirt is upwards of $5000! But, hey drooling is free ain’t it! ;)
Absolutely stunning…I prefer the pink one..but I am guessing this is not for all body types. The lady in blue is not wearing the same shirt as the model rite???…I thought this was a complete ensemble. Would have looked even better if she wore the same top.
Methinks this skirt will be soon seen in a slightly different avataar on Indian runways soon! What with some styles looking uncannily like some of designers’ out west (P&P have posted quite a bit on these), I think we could look forward to a cheaper ($5000 wow!!) version soon ;)
@Priti – I think its sthe same top, maybe slightly looser and the sleeves not rolled up.
@Emma – but she *is* middle aged isnt she? that is what i liked. i dont like old ladies with their bits hanging out.. i kinda liked the way she took it off the runway and found something that suited her…
i like. the colours and style suit her age.
Its beautiful…
P & P …………….do u guys know how much this outfit ( or atleast the skirt) cost ??
Tres chic.
love those skirts…both!
gulp! where can i get that pink one? I need it. NOW!
i’m undecided on this one. it looks really chic on the runway, but to wear it in real life- mmmmm, i dont think so. plus, it’s a little middle-aged.
these are nice but, i would totally drool over if it were a mini dress or skirt with that print, color and fit.
i like the pink…i would even wear it as a lehnga…yum!

Priti- the lady in blue is THE LINDA CARTER- you know, TV’s wonderwoman and she is very elegant…
anyway, i don’t like the skirt/print at all…but there’s something that makes it look ok. hm.
Thanks Emma
She looks really elegant !!! I personally love the ink version !!
I like the blue better :)
wow, thats gorgeous!
and you can totally wear it to desi events too!
