After seeing the same dress on Padma, we have to admit, we like it a little less on Freida! (Even though Padma’s is from a shoot! :P)

I think its Padma’s legs that make it look good. If it had been a little shorter maybe it would’ve looked good on Freida… maybe…
padma’s styling lets the dress do most of the talking and the shoes get to play a part too, however with Freida, she looks tired…with all the running around, and i think the shoes overwhelm her …if she kept it a clean neat look with minimal accessories she too would’ve rocked the look…oh n the dress looks big for her frame…
Padma has the height to carry off this dress, unlike Freida.
Her.legs.just.go.on.forever.
And *that’s* how one dresses for one’s body type…
Ok yes Padma looks fierce, I especially love the shoes, but Frieda makes the dress more wearable. I think Freida wears it beautifully (if less fiercely).

oh wow! padma totally makes the dress look much better than freida.. and then again shes like 6 feeet tall! love that dress! i do like freidas shoes better tho!

I have to disagree about the legs being the sole reason why Padma’s is better- I chose her before I even scrolled down that far

Love Padma in this dress.
Padma looks great. The dress works on her because she has the right built and attitude to carry it off. On Freida she looks overhelmed like she is playing dress up. Freida should avoid edgy and go for elegance.
I would never buy Padma’s shoes but they look good on her. Freida’s shoes look clunky.

in real life it looks like it came out of a kiddies craft class. i read a review for this dress that said reg the work on the shoulder.. “looks like a pigeon had a fatal crash on the shoulder” lollllllll
i think the dress overpowers frieda. she’s too slight and unknown for it. on someone like padma its almost part of her. plus the back is much nicer than the front. i’d be interested in seeing the front of it on padma. and not at a shoot.. but in real life.
Padma is a tall girl and her legs look fab….the dress looks good on both girls , but its a not a fair comparison…one is a photoshoot with photoshopping and the other is a candid camera one.
I don’t think you can compare the 2. Padma is in a photoshoot, and the back detail adds to the look. Freida is wearing it as good as it it can possibly be worn.

Am I the only one to disagree here? Like it better on Freida – it’s a youngish, quirky kind of dress that suits her style. Padma, for lack of a better word, looks too ‘mature’ for it; she would rock the long flowy elegant statement kind of gowns

well you can’t really see the “detail” on the shoulder in the shoot…which probably makes it look better. regardless padma it is for me….
