Wearing an Asa Kazingmei gown, Elli attended the IIFA Awards ceremony on Saturday evening. Hair in a sleek middle-parted do, her look was finished out with jewellery from Shubhashini Ornamentals and a Klick By RG clutch.
At first glance, the look was quite striking but the more I look at the print of the gown, the less I like the reptilian print.

Hahahahah maybe so but I like it! She’s wears the snake dress well you have to admit. I like the fall of the dress and it’s just refreshingly different. Most of these celebrities wear such similar dresses year after year, it’s nice to see something different.
ITA! It is creepy as hell. I hate these reptilian prints. Ew.

Overall impression of IIFA is orange makeup, extra strong eyebrows and tacky gowns. Maybe the contingent had a Eurotrash fashion Bible to refer to.
Hahaha! Truly Piku. We need Bella’s consolidated scorecard. They are spot on without the use of words unlike the “usual flock” who was online the entire night reading each comment and filling in pages to express their insecurities. I am so amused at how they have filled in practically each page on HHC right now “with mah choice, mah opinion”, because not only do they take celebrities dress sense personally, but take each comment personally as well. LOL. Can’t blame them, that is a mark of diffident individuals. Like the reader “hjnrg” had said in last post of Deepika, they have an abnormal level of hatred & negativity within them.

LOL it looks striking at first glance but even I didn’t like the dress. But like Ana said, she is carrying that dress confidently and in a pleasing way.
It must be tiring for one of the posse to be the Last Word Lass….got to go back and read all the posts and answer each time!!

Exactly Piku. One of the Posse.. Last Word Lass.. hahahaha. So easy to get reaction out of such people and it is so much fun to the boot. We don’t even take names and she proves us right, Every. Damn. Time. Haha! Now we can again expect “one of the posse” to keep filling in each page of HHC for the next 4 days, lol.
@Bella: I agree. I believe the thing is, this look is a bit too “perfect” in terms of styling which is taking away the appeal. Something like, real life barbie dolls will never look that appealing. :)

The look is sleek & well put-together but it still doesn’t convince me. Reminds me of yesteryears but not in a good way. She looks like a reptile herself.
More than the reptilian print, it’s the weird peplum thingy that i dislike. Is it a peplum, or a bum cape?
This is a perfect example of bad bronzer usage. Overdone make-up is killing the otherwise dramatic look!
