Elle Feb:(Un)Covered
With fashion covers getting hijacked by Bollywood at most times, it’s always nice to see models on the cover. Now, let’s see if you know your models! Can you name ’em all? Tell us! (No prizes though, just bragging rights!)
We give you a couple of hours before we reveal it. :P

Its funny how you modestly let this outside link in the comments section..lol. Anyways, you are doing a good job, girls.
they tweeted about it.
I only recognize Carol Garcia – third from L
I don’t care to know their names, I guess that’s why I like seeing models on covers more than the bwood folks. These girls know how to pose and look and carry off the clothes. I think with the bwood chicks they often look too posey and wannabee. it hurts my eyes…
P&P, the chequered Palazza pants seem to be the same ones worn by Laisa Haydon in this months cover of Marie Claire.
I wish the cover background was a different white or grey so that we could see the white clothes better. Now they blend with the background.
We keep commenting on how the dress is hidden from a cover (just because it is out of view/ profile view/ not in frame/ muted/ fill your own). But sometimes the point of a cover is not the dress (such as here). The editors probably didnt want the dresses to steal attention over the personalities of the models. Hence…
Carol Gracias literally ruins every image with that frown…it’s so model from the 90s or 2000s or whatever it’s just so depressing to look at! why does no one see this? the zoolander face was a joke!
so true! she always looks like she’s crying .. but funnily .. she’s the only one whose name i know :|
Indrani Dasgupta, next to CG in the middle of the cover, has always been one of the most stunning models, for me…
‘coz she was in Big Boss once? I’m ashamed I even know that. :P
Sonalika sahay, indrani dasgupta, carol gracias, sapna kumar, laxmi rana and bhavna sharma!
For what could probably have been a really really strong visual, the graphic designer at Elle ruined it with the over-abundance of type. I don’t know where to look now, for all the different typefaces, superimposed text, millions of headlines.
I wish they had left it clean and just focussed on the models. The magazine would have sold anyway.
so true !!!! they have over filled the cover with texts.. This would have been the best if the cover was left alone with the gorgeous models !
Carol and Indrani…Beauiful and smart ladies…dnt knw the rest of the model’s name eventhough seen them a lot
Sonalika, Indrani, Carol, Sapna, Laxmi and Bhavna :)
OMG its lovelly to see all there grlz on this cover it reminds me of my Fashion colg days frm 2002 to 2006 they were all over the fashion weeks n yes d Elle favourites. Only one thing is missing the magic of Sheetal Mallar and Vidisha Pavate.
Lov d cover Fashion is always joyfull at Elle India
Covers with Bollywood actors sell far more than those with models. Hence, the abundance and preference for them.
This however, is a stunning cover regardless.
lol i can recognise only Indrani dasgupta and carol gracias
Laxmi is the only one who’s owning this look for me.
Either the placement/body language/fierceness is missing in the rest..
Sapna Kumar’s on Lakshmi’s left :)
Why are there 2 covers?
glad to see some f d finest supermodels on a fashion magazine’s cover!! guess dats how it is supposed to be.. :)
Love the cover, striking!!
