In Neeta Lulla

Divya attended the Global Indian Music Awards wearing a fresh off the LFW runway Neeta Lulla. On the runway, the orange gown looked rather nice but by wearing it with that orange patch to cover up the neckline, Divya totally killed the look. In a very bad way.

If you don’t have the guts to go bold, then don’t pick the outfit. The triangle patch made the gown look so much worse. I also think the gown was a whole lotta orange to take in and needed a burgundy accessory to tone it down a bit.

  1. That patch work killed it. She has a great body not sure why she has to resort to that alteration part. She could have even closed the V part a bit without a patch if she didn’t want it that revealing. Sigh!

  2. honestly i didnt even notice the patch until you mentioned it. i think her makeup is a lot better here compared to her other appearances.

  3. She has considerably larger boobs than the model on the ramp. If she had worn it without the alteration, she would’ve looked like a porn star at the adult movie Awards

  4. The dress on the left looks like a pretty dress. On the right it looks like she saw a dress in a fairytale and wanted to get it stitched, therefore, purchased a smiliar looking flimsy fabric and gave it to her local darzi for stitching. :P

  5. She really needs to get over these princess-y gowns and dresses. She has smoking hot body, but she always dresses either like Barbie or OTT bride. Disappointing!

  6. That’s one ghastly outfit! How can it look good on anyone?? It seems like the designer thought of making an anarkali out of it but changed her mind last minute

  7. I don’t agree with the “guts to go bold” part. I don’t think one choice is any gutsier than the other. To me, it is all about personal choice, and I have always assumed that pre-designed outfits can and should be morphed to suit the needs and aesthetic appeal of the wearer. And I see nothing wrong or cowardly about these choices. And while the outfit is ho-hum, Divya is quite pretty, and looks pretty to me in spite of the outfit.

  8. Oh God! You girls think that gown is nice???? Its the first thing a bad designer from a vocational tailoring institute will do. Step one make basic skirt, step two make basic gown, step three slash gown and put them together!!! So ugly!
